Our sons visited us in early March. We made reservations but my wife contracted the flu so we called to cancel. We spoke to one of the managers who was very understanding and cancelled our reservation. While on the telephone, we asked to re-book our reservation for my wife's birthday, this weekend. We never gave any thought to it but my wife decided to call and confirm our reservation. We found out that not only did they not change the reservation, it was never booked. To add insult to injury, the host told us that we failed to show up in March and no reservation was made. She was not going to accommodate us regardless of the event. The hostess was so rude and disrespectful that my wife actually hung up the telephone and cried. If this is how any restaurant does business, then we will not be going back but we want others to understand their business ethic.

The food was really excellent but the service could have been better . We enjoyed the drinks as well . My husband had fish and chips . I had shaved roast beef on sour dough bread . It was very tender and delicious.! My husbands fish was flaky and said it was good . They gave chips with my meal they were home made and yummy . I would go back and recommend it . Thank you for the review Laurie! We are so glad you and your husband enjoyed your meal. We appreciate all feedback as it gives us an opportunity to make improvements within our store. Looking for a place for a nice Happy Hour and this place was a really nice Find! It was very pretty inside and out and food was pretty good we only apps. Acoustics weren't that good maybe because it's all open... all in all a very nice place and will go back again soon!

We were head north on the Turnpike and it was lunch time so I was looking for a good place to eat. This restaurant is probably less than a mile off Exit 3 of the turnpike, straight down the road, so it's easy to find and doesn't require a detour.The value is amazing, but just as important, the service was great and the food was really good. My husband had the soup of the day (vegetable) and a tuna salad that he loved. I had the meatloaf platter. The food came out quickly and the portions were ample. The meatloaf came with sides, salad, drink AND dessert for something like $10. Everything was really good. The salad dressing was homemade and so was the rice pudding. The waitress was helpful, cheerful and attentive. This is NOT a fancy place, It was full of locals and the food is down to earth, typical diner, comfort food, but diner food done very well.The Club Diner is our new go-to lunch stop on our travels up and down the east coast.

I have had the Italian chicken sandwich three times and it was delicious. The atmosphere is inviting to families and has a friendly atmosphere. The service is excellent and the prices are reasonable.

Stop in for lunch before going to a show at the local Ritz Theater. Great old time local diner. Loved the oldies music. Serves breakfast all day. Menu to large. Very good selection of club sandwiches. Server was very good didn't rush us at all. Lunch was very good . Will return

but very loud, very crowded. The food is generally good, some unique items. The servers was nice but very busy and it was so loud and hectic it was hard to get her attention.

We were greeted warmly by the owner who also told us the specials of the day. There is varios selection of seafood appetizers and entree. We selected stone crab claws and rock shrimp bruschetta. Both were delicious and the bruschetta portion was quite large. For entrees we ordered their 2fish specials and a seafood pot pie. There was a misunderstanding of 2 separate fish dishes so instead of grilled benzino and a dish of cod we ended up with 2 benzino dishes. They were accommodating and willing to exchange but I decided to try it and the benzino turned out to be delicious! The owner offered to treat us to dessert on the house- a big slice of chocolate cake and a carrot cake. Both my sister and husband said they were the best dessert ever. Will definitely return.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner before picking our daughter up at the airport. The food was every bit as good as it was decades ago when I lived in the neighborhood. Fabulous homemade meatballs and a delicious Italian chopped salad. We will definitely make a point of returning as often as we can.

Get anything any time of day. Breakfasts are great and vert reasonably priced. Have had everything from full dinners to coffee and cake. Staff are very friendly and efficient. The owner is always there. I have no clue when this man sleeps. Highly recommend the Cajun chicken sandwich.
