I went to Paulyâs for the first time and really enjoyed the experience. The food is fresh, hot and plentiful. Meats here are really soaked to perfection. Even the turkey was moist and delicious. The ribs didnât need sauce, as they were excellently flavored with rub and smoke. The service was attentive despite the lunch rush. The place is small so waiting for a table or the bathroom is highly likely. However the food is worth the wait. I really like their combo platter option, which provides two meats of your choice. The portions were perfect - not too big or small. The sides were excellent as well! Totally worth the drive to Arthur!

Very quaint. I checked Trip Advisor for the highest rated restaurant in Tuscola and found this. I had the grilled Mile High Turkey Club Panini on Marble Rye (Turkey, bacon, pepper jack cheese, spinach, tomato, green chiles and salsa mayo) with potato salad. We had fun picking out special treats to snack on. We will be back!

Stopped in for breakfast on a late Thursday morning, and noticed the place was more than half filled with locals - always a good sign. Enjoyed an omelet with hash browns - more than enough food, and tasted great. LOVED the well kept antique interior with the old time wood bench booths and marble soda fountain counter. The service was friendly and efficient. But the best part was all the fabulous house-made chocolates - so many different kinds! I'll be back in the Fall, and will be trying out more chocolates - they were delicious... and the atmosphere is just so friendly.... if you haven't been there yet, you'll really enjoy this place!

This is a recent incarnation of a restaurant that specialized in Amish-style fried chicken, and that was the aroma that struck us as we walked in. I was hungry, my wife not so much. I ordered chicken-fried steak, she ordered chicken noodle soup. Hers was inedible, never saw chicken noodle with a dark broth and an awful taste, My chicken fried steak was tough and tasteless, the mashed potatoes runny and the cole slaw tasty but not well shredded. On the positive side, the Arnold Palmer was one of the best I've had and the service was friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Looking for local fare thatâs sure to please? This is a family style restaurant with an Amish flair. Youâll most likely encounter a horse and buggy or two or three during your visit but they wonât interfere with your parking. The menu always consists of âbroastedâ chicken (fried and pressure cooked to provide tenderness and a crispy coating) and Amish chicken and noodles.
Part of a gas plaza, the Subway is kept very clean and like the entire interior plaza, as well as the adjoining convenience store, it is a very inviting place. Bathrooms are very clean and gas is reasonably priced. Typical Subway fare, consistently good.

We stopped for lunch while on our way back home from vacation. We prefer to eat at local restaurants. The Hen House isn't fancy, but it's clean, the staff are efficient and friendly, and the food is terrific. I had an omelette and my husband had a meatloaf dinner. Both meals were delicious, and our total bill was less than $20. We hope to return to the Hen House again on our way through Arcola next year.

My wife and I had an enjoyable meal at this cafe. I had the pepper soup, delicious! Along with it I had the mango slaw, superb! No credit cards, only cash or check. When you are finished eating enjoy shopping at the connected stores. Florida visitors will especially feel welcomed here!
