Nice dining options outside, in bar, or dining room. Good menu selections and friendly service. Generous portions. It was a bit warm inside for my comfort - I could have used a cooler environment but at least it wasnât freezing like most establishments. The patriotic corner honoring service personnel was meaningful and appreciated!

After a long day at Ball Memorial Hospital, we headed back home along 69N. Exiting 69, we stopped at the Iron Skillet. The buffet was ok, but it reminded me of other truck stops with restaurants. We both chose their buffet, which ready. I really liked their chili. The salad fixings were great. A great addition was having a really special waitress. Special container were above the buffet showing serving sizes.

Not a fancy place but nice people and attentive service. The best breaded tenderloin sandwiches around! It is good that I don't live in Alexandria or I would eat one every day.

Their food is always good. You can eat in or drive up like Sonic. We all order the maxi burger and french fries. It was alot of food, but it so good. The root beer in a cold, frosted mug is some of the best. We wish we knew their secret to making it.

We came specifically on Wednesday so we could try the fried chicken. Itâs delivered to your table piping hot along with rolls, choice of potato, and side. Enough food to take home leftovers. Chicken is available until sold out. (The white meat choice contained 2 large meaty chicken breasts)Our server was friendly and attentive. Iâd like to return to try the burgers and pizza
