Everyone told us that we would love this place and we do. We had lunch today for the first time and it won't be the last. This is a gourmet sandwich place with lots of daily specials and a regular lunch menu. They're open from 11:00 until 4:00 Monday through Friday. That is a bit unusual, but this is an eminently unusual community, so whatever. The sandwiches were wonderful and the desserts delectable. The service was first rate and the outside dining was charming. We had both red and white house wines-- ok ,but unsophisticated. That's pretty normal around here. Valet parking was appreciated.

This is a nice restaurant serving breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Main course dinner are reasonable between 145-245 pesos. Steak, chicken, salmon and pasta, they have it all!I stopped for lunch and was very happy with the pork sandwich on a baguette. Real tasty. The accompanying potato salad was a nice surprise. That was a very reasonable 100 pesos. The location isnât crowded together ( like Tangos) and service is great. All in all, a great place to swing in. Next time it will be for dinner!

Fine dining restaurant and bar featuring North American/Continental cuisine. Reservations suggested.
The looks of the restaurant, white table cloths, strange classical marching music, etc were not interesting to me, however the food turned out to be delicious. It's not often the bread basket is worth coming to a restaurant for, but the one here was.

Went for the first time last winter..an amazing experience for oneâs taste buds..Tantalizing smells continue to flow from the small kitchen & I am sure this brings many customers in..On our return visit yesterday we brought friends to try the mouthwatering delights..Once again we were all very impressed with our choice of sandwiches..Freshly baked breads & mountains of meat..Chicken breast cooked to perfection..Certainly a experienced to be repeated many times..with enjoyment..

My emphasis is preparing and presenting dishes reflecting the highest culinary sophistication accompanied by fresh and local ingredients. At the same time, offering a casual, friendly atmosphere welcoming tourists and locals
We walked to this cute restaurant one night after hearing about it from a local, Oscar, who works there. Our meal ended up being one of the best on our 2 week trip through Mexico. The flavors are outstanding, full and interesting, using fresh ingredients and great combinations. The presentation is lovely. We enjoyed apps, main courses, cocktails, wine and dessert. We enjoyed our meal so much on our first visit, we decided to come back a second time before leaving Ajijic, which is rare for us. The food, beverages and presentation were again wonderful. Oh yes, and service is top notch from all the staff working here, with an extra shout out to the delightful Oscar!

We went as a fairly large group and they did an admirable job of serving us efficiently. Everyone had somewhat different fare, so I could observe and inquire about quality. The consensus was pretty good. Fish tacos, fish and chips, portabella burger, pork ribs, salads etc. The house wines have drinkability and the servers were patient and gracious. The environment is pleasant and comfortable, kind of half inside and outside. They have a full bar, but that's pretty normal in the area. I highly recommend Adelita's.

This is another place that does get a lot of hype, but man, they lived up to the publicity. Service was fast and friendly, but not trying to hustle us out. The food was amazing, a really nice wine list, and good prices. We will be back!
