The restaurant was very busy as we were there on a Saturday evening. Just as well we had booked. We had a good meal although the service could/should have been quicker. The waitress did say that had they known the numbers coming they would have had more staff on.

This restaurant acts as a training platform for aspiring hositpitality professions...the meet and greet was handled well and attention at the table at times a little unsure, but kept in check by a more experienced waitron.Lovely setting and food choices very good....Would recommend and would eat there again,

I love places like this. Good value for money food, beer and wines. Excellent old style pub decor with theme decor throughout staff and owners who care. Immediately feel at home without airs and graces and a local following who have the time to include you.
