The 16th Lintel Restaurant at Kleinkaap Boutique Hotel is all about bringing people together. Everything about this brand new restaurant resolves around its name. The vibe, the décor, the ideals and the food. The original homestead had a total of 15 suppo
We went for restaurant week and were treated to fabulous food artfully presented. The waiters are attentive but not intrusive. Extensive wine list with interesting varietals and good wine by the glass options. Beautiful lush green gardens take you far from the maddening crowd. Fairy lights make for a romantic feel in the evenings. The interior in wood and stone is understated, stylish but not pretentious. Will definitely be back for tranquility, good food and wine.

The Daily Coffee Cafe is a homely coffee cafe with a New York-meets-Karoo look and feel! An amazing restaurant, with good South African Flavors, and quality food and service Do something GREAT today...and drink Great coffee!
This spot has become a firm favourite for breakfast or brunch. It's small enough for you to still get personal attention from waiters. Breakfast is very good and their carrot cake is to die for. We're thrilled that you enjoy the charm of our little corner here in Southdowns. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

We book in for an extended long weekend - with a view to making this a holiday because of the accessibility to areas we had not visited before. The accommodation was excellent - the staff very friendly, helpful and obliging from beginning to end and are a team who hold up the African Pride standard strongly. The public rooms are very tastefully outfitted - and the renovations (to the conference + facilities) did not affect us at all. For us this worked well - we ventured out for 3 days and spent the last two at the Spa Pool (which is actually the adults pool for the hotel) and that was very relaxing. There is a children's pool at the back of the hotel - but we never saw anyone there. Its a bit of a surprise that there isn't a pool close to the lake in the font but that said - there is a lot of bird life - including those beautiful black swans - and an incredible amount of bird excrement so there is no such thing as lying down on the grass by the lake. A pity but not a deal breaker. As a business hotel - this scores especially high marks. As it should for special functions. And those breakfasts are delicious. But the best part of it - the staff. Thanks for a great visit!

In the 1800âs, long before the town of Pretoria came to be, the Erasmus family settled on Brakfontein farm. The âwaenhuisâ, built in 1841, and the âVoortrekkershuisâ, built around 1854 still stand on the property today. The location has been declared a Hi
I was invited to a 50th birthday dinner at the restaurant. Very easy to find and secure venue. The setting of the restaurant is stunning especially during sunset. The restaurant is in an old farm home so lots of space and little private rooms for a meal. The service is great and very friendly. The wine cellar is good but wines are expensive (minimum 200% higher than Makro wine prices). The menu option for starters, mains and deserts are really great...not a full menu though. We shared a chicken liver starter which was prepared well and the plating was poor to average...so i will go with the taste. For mains we had a fillet with sweet potato mash, and my son ordered a salmon medium to rare and came very well done. The plating was very poor for a restaurant that sets itself as fine-dining. The taste was average and the price was over the top.Not a place i would visit again,.

It looks like a steakhouse. Mmmm, it smells like a steakhouse. And it certainly tastes like a steakhouse. But Karoo Grill & Bar is more than just a steakhouse. It's a top steak-based restaurant. And a South African one at that, featuring traditional SA fa
Great choice on the menu, with large portions and surprisingly very reasonable prices. Large restaurant with seating downstairs outside, or upstairs inside.I like the idea of the salad bar which is included with each meal. Good service by knowledgable staff.Obviously great for steaks, which are huge, and again very good pricesI apologise for not responding before, it seems the "warning" system when a new review is posted isn't working perfectly! Thank you so much for this kind review, we really appreciate the rating and your kind comments.

Die Bosvelder is closer to a holiday in the veld, than a mere eatery. This restaurant and pub offers a unique experience where the traditional South African lifestyle can be enjoyed. A restaurant with no pretences, Die Bosvelder is true to its name. Woode
A great restaurant that offers a chilled vibe, good service & exceptional food!As a table of 6 (with the restaurant being busy on a weekday) the time from placing our order till the food was served was acceptable.I would personally recommend any of their burgers, as well as the platters.Their prices are a bit more expensive than other restaurants, but you can't even compare the quality & it's definitely worth it!
