Babakoul, Tamraght's little restaurant shop, km 14 on the road from Agadir to Essaouira is online! Babakoul, his terrace with three fruit trees, his berber pancakes and his fresh juices, opens his shop of accessories, furniture and objects of craftsmen. A
The stuff would give foreign free jus but for me as a moroccan I got nothing, I was with italian and spanish friends and they gave it to them but left me there with nothing which is very rude, I don't care about something free or about a jus but this is like so rude how is that even normal. Definitly not going back.

This is the centre restaurant of three alongside each other in Place Tamri so the competition is fierce -menu prices are similar -all appreciated by the clientele. We had some meals here and the fish [sole] and peppered steak were excellent.Always worth a return visit.

We visited this out-of-town ecolodge just to dine whilst visiting the Agadir region. It was my husband's birthday and so we were treated to the special set menu and full tour of the place before sitting down. There was a small mix-up about the booking as we had emailed and arranged a 7 o' clock table but we weren't told that the dining room didn't actually open until 7.30pm. Nonetheless we were given basil tea on the glorious terrace and and opportunity to look around. The property is stunning, on a hill with amazing views and extensive grounds. The dining room is cosy and our meal was accompanied by traditional Berber music from local musicians. The food was a 5 course menu of typical Moroccan cuisine. Despite me not having warned them that I was vegetarian they quickly adapted the beef tagine to a tasty vegetable one. The rest of the family really enjoyed their beef as well. The first course was an amazingly filling and tasty vegetable soup of which we were allowed to have seconds if we wanted. We ate traditionally cooked Moroccan bread which we were able to have a go at preparing at the outside, wood-fired oven. We also had sweet chicken pasta (not sure about that one), fruit salad, birthday cake, coffee and lemongrass tea. All for £20 each. We were able to bring our own wine which was served at our table. The staff were extremely friendly and wanted our visit and meal to be 'perfect'. We couldn't have wanted for a better place to celebrate a birthday on holiday.Dear CarlaBrighton, thank you for your kind words. We are very happy that you have liked celebrating your birthday at the Atlas Kasbah. We will forward your experience with the cooks as well. Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you again.Best regards,The Atlas Kasbah Team

Had a chicken tagine and a lamb tagine in this locals' favouriteServed fast straight from their own oven and accompanied by onions, prunes and other traditional vegetables. Tasty and once paired to the traditional bread, it really makes for a great valu for money lunch.Prices around â¬12-15 per tagine, I only wished I tried the meat too.Recommended.
