After sleepy Yeosu was chosen to host the 2012 World Expo, it was catapulted into the tourism spotlight. Now that the South Korean city’s volcanic beaches, idyllic islands and colorful historic sites have been discovered, it’s likely that it will grow into a popular international vacation spot. Take a bus to the Hyangiram temple, walk along the breakwater to Odongdo Island, or work your way through the fascinating Fish Market.

offers nice view and walking trail. I would recommend a trolley ride for $1 to minimize the walk. Easier for rest of trip

The popular bus route 2/7/8 will definitely pass by the Yi Sun Shin square, where you can see the turtle battle ship and yi sun shin's statue. nice park also!

Come here at night. It’s free admission and you can have a relaxing walk in the Park at night. You can also see the awesome bridge which has its own charm in a romantic way.... This is also where you can ride the cable car. Highly recommended!
