Came across this beautiful historic building, that is so very interesting to go in, and see the rooms, and sit and listen to the history being told The boutique brewery along side, but far enough away so not to ruin the view of the old building, has fabulous meals at reasonable prices. If you pay the $7.50 to enter the home you can sample 2 of the beers/ciders included in the price. The huge platter for 2 was fantastic. As it was a lovely day it was so relaxing sitting at one of the many tables around the property... Could not find a more relaxed atmosphere than at the historic Byramine Homestead & brewery. Would certainly recommend this place.

Rich Glen in Yarrawonga was established 22 years ago by the Vodusek family and is currently run by fifth generation farmers Ros, a trained chef, and Daimien, a butcher. The family farm is located in North East Victoria, a hidden gem located on the banks of the mighty Murray River surrounded by red gum forests, pristine inland beaches and rows of majestic olive trees. Rich Glen produces 150 extra virgin olive-oil based food and natural skin-care products on the farm and collaborates with regional farmers using as many “local" ingredients wherever possible. The Vodusek family loves to share their beautiful property with visitors so they can immerse themselves in a truly authentic hands-on farm experience of growing, harvesting and custom making their own artisan food and skin-care products. Rich Glen is open by appointment only for pre-booked tourism experiences.

We went to check it out, excellent walking path all the way around. Probably about a 2 kilometer walk. Good wheelchair access. Trees and birds in abundance. Great photo opportunities.

excellent park, very green and lots of information about how the weir came to be with old photos of how it was built. Plenty of room, overlooks the Murray river, and it is awesome to walk across the weir wall and look at the spillways when they are open to allow water through. Great place to watch the sunset over the river. Plenty of animal life to see, from above there are turtles, pelicans, water birds and fish hovering about. Lots of birds as well in the trees.
