I went to 5th station via Subaru line during the first few days of August, but the mist was heavily low and blurred the mountain. However, this compensated with the musical road on the way there. You need to be quiet enough to hear. I bought the ticket from Kawagujiko bus station which is the nearest station to Fuji because I climbed mount Fuji on the next day. To see Mount Fuji clearly, you need to stay at the hotel around and wake up in the early morning to admire the graceful sight of Fuji San.
