A local family run garden centre committed to quality and service.
We have shopped at The Plant Place for many years and they have a great variety of plants, shrubs, fruit trees and gardening products. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. It was great to be able to go back after the lockdown and the social distancing procedures are in place so shop with confidence. Support your local garden centre.

As a rule of thumb markets aren't what they used to be. Far from being places where you could find everything you wanted, these days they too often tend to concentrate on cheap clothes and things you've never really wanted anyway. Thank goodness then that Fleetwood is an exception to the new rule. It's a while since I'd visited but with a bit of time to spare between appointments in the port I ducked in and was delighted to find as near to a traditional market as you are likely to see. For starters most of it is under cover. Whether you want wool, cotton, cards, haberdashery, candles, things for pets and parents, ribbons for your hair or cannabis oil for your aching limbs, it's all here along with cd's, videos, vinyl, shirts for "fat lads" and clothes for kids. It's all very friendly and very local, there's food and (non alcoholic) drink too.

I have been visiting burnside garden centre for many years every week with different friends and have always enjoyed the food offered in the the cafe . The garden centre itself has all the usual plants etc and fantastic range of gifts and a card for every occasion I visited again today with my husband as it is the only place I feel has all the correct safety measures in place .We tend to book a table on line for Sunday breakfast as it gets very busy. Reading some of the previous reviews I wonder what people are commenting about???? They have a much smaller menu understandably at the moment but I’m sure there is something for everyone My husband thoroughly enjoys the full breakfast and we believe is at a very reasonable price as it includes tea or coffee and toast !! As for complaints about the prices for cakes and drinks these people need to visit one of the well known coffee chains for inflated prices also all the cakes are handmade in the kitchen where you can see the scones etc coming out of the oven . The scones are always delicious and the cakes second to none for freshness and value for money some people need to get out more !! The staff are always very friendly and helpful especially if people cannot order via their excellent app and need to have their order taken down by one of the staff and payments are only by card which is safer for everyone at the moment A little gem close to where I live and I hope it is able to keep working despite any tighter restrictions that may be made by the prime minister in his next round of announcements Keep up the good work guys we hope people continue to support all your efforts Many thanks See you again soon
