Winner of National Rail Awards 'Small Station of the Year' 2006. Home of the Brief Encounter Restaurant and Coffee Shop famed for it's home-cooked lunches and afternoon teas and voted one of the UK's Top Ten Station Eateries in 2009.
The station at Wymondham is primarily served by Greater Anglia trains running between Norwich and Cambridge and Stansted airport. There are also a few East Midlands Railway service between Norwich and Nottingham. The station building is quite impressive and in keeping with the surroundings.
