Wuxi (Chinese: 无锡) is an old city in southern Jiangsu province, China. The city borders two other large cities, Changzhou to the west and Suzhou to the east, and borders Zhejiang Province as well in the south. It also covers a coastline of the Yangtze River in the north and two separate coasts of Lake Tai. Wuxi is well known for being one of the birthplaces of China's modern industry and commerce, as well as the hometown of many important businessmen who have played essential roles in building commerce in Shanghai since the early 20th century.

The Budda is worth the walk. Other attractions there make it a must see.the Temple has a play that tells a very cool story. The opening flower with the Baby Budda starts a little slow but well with the wait.

This is a hidden-away gem in Wuxi, and definitely worth the visit. The gardens were large and beautiful. History is alive with nearly every step you take. We did have an English-speaking guide which was important and was able to point out the highlights we might have otherwise missed before exploring on our own. This spot is very quiet and tranquil and provides a break from the large crowds we always seemed to encounter.
