We come here all the time and it really is the most wonderful place to go all year round, this time as spring is on its way! The caffi is absolutely outstanding with amazing staff and incredible well priced food for all types of dietary requirements including home made cakes and snacks. I would suggest it is under priced as the portions and staff are so awesome you could charge a little more and still have very happy customers! The car park is £1 all day, as of March 2020, and they do offer a mobile way of paying if you have no cash - but clearly as with all council run car parks if you don't pay, it's at your own risk. There are two play parks for those who are under 5/6 and those a little older which are really good fun and stimulate the mind. The obvious missing bit I haven't mentioned here is the massive outdoor space which kids, adults and animals alike can enjoy and go mad in. We'll be back as soon as we can. Much love, ZEN family.

One of my favourite things to do is go for a walk around Acton Park. It’s always so beautiful, no matter what time of year it is. It’s such a friendly and relaxing environment. I would definitely recommend taking a walk around Acton Park if you get the chance.

Went last weekend with some friends who were visiting... Due to the lockdown the oveeflow car park area is locked off but main car park open and at the moment its free parking until september i believe... The little kiosk run by Andrea of Andreas Cupcakes was open so we had a nice coffee and snack.....Her cupcakes are superb... .There are some picnic benches if your buying from the kiosk... and small childrens play area nearby.. A walk round the country park is lovely and takes you down by the river and viaduct.. there is also a path to the aquaduct... Its nice they have some animals at the park... but the small animal area was locked off.. Its a great place to take piccies or with the family to have a picnic.. The toilets on this occasion were locked... We had a fab day out and its well recommended

we parked at the visitor centre( note this and the toilets are only open at weekends) parking was only £1.Whilst there are many walks The one I did was walking past the visitor centre on the left then go up an ascent, at the road junction turn right. descend a bit and look for a kissing gate on the left see photo. go though this and then follow the river to a waterfall, then a little later a weir This is the fastest point then retrace you steps back to car 0ark-this is 2.8miles and takes approx. 1hour. you start above the river but do descend along river when dogs can have a drink and paddle. Highly recommend especially on hot days when the shade from the trees and the water will be welcomed by your dogs

Thus is a lovely place for a walk all year round. There is something for everyone from young to old ,dogs and kids. There are all ability paths level and smooth to wilder areas and the most magnificent wooden fort made from conifers felled to allow native species to grow. Do visit you won't regret it.

We love Moss Valley Country Park. Lovely paths and walking, spectacular views and wildlife. Always quiet. Regularly see buzzards and other beautiful creatures in this special place. Feels timeless.

A convenient location close to the town centre. Nice tree-lined paths around the bandstand are good for for walking and there are some colourful flowerbeds. Worth a visit!
