A full time cinema that has been showing films continuously since 1922! The foyer is a mini museum dedicated to the Golden Age of Cinema.
Lovely little gem of a picture house with a old fashioned interval accompanied by an organists. Well worth the visit and looking forward to a return visit.

Jubilee Park Is run by the Charity, Jubilee Park Woodhall Spa Ltd 1159068. It boosts a large heated outdoor swimming and paddling pools. These are open from the 6th April until the 22nd September 2019. We also a caravan and camping site which caters for touring caravans, motorhomes, camper vans and tents. The park has beautiful park gardens, park games a children's play park and an onsite cafe.
Popped in for a day visit so can't comment on the camp site but the park itself is lovely and well kept. Plenty out of outdoor sport areas ie: tennis, croquet, cricket etc. There's a lovely little peaceful seating area with a nice wind-chime and a water feature. The children's playground is very well equipped with plenty for both younger and older children. There are also toilets, an outdoor cafe/ice-cream parlour and a lido.

The Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum has extended opening over the Autumn Half Term. Opening hours are 10:30 to 16:00 this Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday with last entry at 15:30. The Museum closes for the winter period at 1600 31st Oct. Some Covid-19 restrictions apply. Be sure to come along and see the new displays and exhibits. The Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum is a joy to explore and packed with intriguing stories and displays about Woodhall Spa, the local area and the Wield family, who lived in the building from 1887 to the 1960's. The Museum building itself is an important Museum exhibit. It is a rare surviving example of a bungalow constructed of corrugated iron on a wooden frame that was erected in the late nineteenth century. John Wield (1877-1965) was a keen photographer and his photographic collection is the basis of the Museum. The collection of images is a unique and valuable record of life in Woodhall Spa and includes images of both people and the local area.
A real slice of local history! We visited and were amazed at the quality of the exhibition rooms and the fantastic vintage photography. There are a couple of touch-screen exhibits, an audio 'hear what locals said' where you listen via a telephone as you look at the exhibit, and a video slide show with seating. You can open some of the drawers on the exhibit fixtures to see more and on the day we were there, a copy of the Daily Sketch newspaper with a local story on the front, was 103 years old to the day! There was a great exhibit where children were able to use vintage style images to make their own Victorian scrap book. There was even a pair of left handed scissors for children who needed them. Very thoughtful. Would we go back? You bet. And what's more, we're looking forward to taking visiting family and friends there too.
