Woodburn is a city in Marion County, Oregon, United States. Incorporated in 1889, the community had been platted in 1871 after the arrival of the railroad. The city is located in the northern end of the Willamette Valley between Portland and Salem. Interstate 5 connects it to major cities to the north and south. Oregon routes 211, 214, 219, and 99E also serve the city, as do Union Pacific and Willamette Valley Railway freight rail lines.

Good photo opportunities with tulips and 3 hot air balloons. You can ride on the balloons for a very short while but they don't go anywhere. Lots of fun for the kids such as face painting, pony and hay rides. Many food vendors. Admission is $5/person or $20/car. This weekend, quite a number of tulips have not blossomed yet, but there were enough blossoms to make our trip worthwhile.

I've been coming here for years and although they are getting bigger - they're also getting better which isn't usually the case! There is absolutely something for all ages to enjoy here and especially during the Halloween season. Their staff are all so nice and helpful, they're apple sauce donuts are the best and their produce and gardens are gorgeous! This time we came home with several treats from the bakery and agreed they were all great and at very good prices as well. This is our go to spot for when we have friends out of town. Our children have loved it here and I can't wait to have grandchildren to take there one day as well!

I can think of no Catholic church in Oregon's historic Willamette Valley which rivals Mt. Angel's Saint Mary's in terms of elegance and sheer beauty. The church's facade dominates the small town (it sits on somewhat elevated ground a few blocks to the east of the town center) and is of a striking semi-gothic character. Its size for such a small town is somewhat surprising, but one must bear in mind the community's strong German Catholic identity and the immediate proximity of the famous Benedictine abbey and seminary situated on an even higher hill just to the east of St. Mary's. The interior of the church is absolutely beautiful, with numerous examples of fine sacred art. The church has proved a perfect venue in past years for concerts of sacred music performed by several Willamette Valley choral groups.

The Alvar Aalto designed library is breathtaking and the Abbey's grounds are lovely. We also visited during the recent 3-day Bach Festival. During the Festival, the monks were incredibly friendly and talkative so we asked lots of questions about everything we ever wanted to know about monks.

These guys are wonderful! I have had several guns worked on and trust no one else, they are go to guys. The new shooting range is fantastic, but the shooting gallery is mind blowing, worth the trip off the freeway alone!!!! Support our local businesses!!!!!

It has carnival rides and food carts and vendors a rodeo and after the rodeo they have fire works. Everyone in town seems to charge about 10 dollars for parking . If you get creative and are willing to walk a bit you can often find free arking. It is a mad house to get out after the rodeo. Very fun we go every year!

We were staying in Lincoln City but drove here for the day to take advantage of the no state tax in Oregon, and were pleasantly surprised at the large selection of stores here.
We found all of the store staff to be friendly and welcoming.
This outlet mall's website lists all of the stores located here if you are looking for one in particular store.
We found this outlet mall to be very similar to the Marysville Premium Outlet Mall, but the fact that there wasn't any state tax on our buys was a real added bonus.

Found this old feed store turned antique consignment store while wandering around Mt. Angel, Or. The building is huge with little & big rooms clinging around the main portion.
There are tons of things for you to choose from........kitchen stuff, furniture, industrial, military, pictures, the list goes on. And the best part is that the prices are reasonable. Even my husband enjoyed looking through everything. What fun!
Just down the street is a Benedictine Monastery & Leona's Bakery, so come & spend the day in this adorable small town.
