Nan Tien is very different from most tourist attractions because there is so much to offer: the visual delights of grandeur architecture, art & culture including unique exhibitions & festivals, Buddhist festivals, vegetarian culinary delights, educational & healthy life style classes & retreats, accommodation, top class conference and auditorium facilities as well as beautiful gardens & walks. There is also the spiritual and religious experience that is unforgettable and even life changing for some.
I always experience the calm and serenity whenever I visit Nan Tien temple. Whether or not you are Buddhist, you will have a wonderful experience here. The temple is surrounded by a beautiful garden with many trees and flowers. There are a tea house and a dining hall upstairs which cater to vegetarian food. Simply Zen.

We went exploring around Belmore Cove. The breakwater light house is lovely and enhances the beauty of the area. We walked out along the break wall to and found the remains of the original light further in the cove. In fact, it the only place along the coast that has two operational lighthouses in such close proximity to one another. Well worth the short walk.
