Annapolis Cider Company

Really enjoyed our stop here on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The server was warm and helpful, and gave us good commentary on the two flights we purchased. Then we bought a bunch more to take home. There is a TON of local cider in the area, and we had product from at least 4 different local cideries during our visit--but this was the best. I'm happiest with classic cider flavours, but the special haskap cider was good, and my husband really liked the muscat-infused one. We'll definitely be back, and will look for this cider in our local NSLC.

What an incredible place! We enjoyed a delicious lunch with friends on the outdoor patio while taking in the stunning views and enjoying some great wine. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The staff were super friendly, and our server, Ella was very attentive. We enjoyed various dishes, which of course included the seafood chowder. The gift shop provided a selection of their various wines, as well as some gourmet food items. The signature red phone booth in the middle of vineyards is a great touch, and the entire place has charm and personality! Highly recommend and definitely our new go-to lunch spot in the Wolfville area!

Wolfville Farmers Market

Started in 1992 with three vendors in a parking lot, we are now a year-round market on Saturdays with over 70 farmers, chefs and artisan vendors. We transformed a turn of the century apple warehouse into our 9000 square foot Market home in 2010. Wolfville Farmers’ Market offers three unique shopping experiences for people looking for local awesomeness. As a farmers’ market and given the need for social distancing, we knew it would be essential for us to do more to increase opportunities to access all the amazing products from our farmers, chefs and artisans. Our answer to the challenge has been to plan for three unique shopping experiences, each allowing a distinct way for you to access local: Our Saturday Market, our online store WFM2Go and new to the season, a Farm and Art Market Store.

This little town market has it all. Fresh produce, seafood and meats. If you are hungry, there are several vendors that can tempt your appetite with a variety of offerings, from donuts, cakes and cookies to sandwiches, and even curry. There are lots of local crafters to browse including jams, jellies, wines, hot sauces and even local grown flowers to brighten your home. Glad we had the opportunity to wander through, while on our short stay.

We visited Grand Pre during a wine tour, the vineyard was beautiful and staff were excellent, they went above and beyond. I would have liked to have spent more time here, so next time we will just skip the bus tour and just visit ourselves and have lunch here.

Growing wines that faithfully express our terrior in Nova Scotia Wine Country.

Our first time at Lightfoot. Won't be our last! This is such a fantastically gorgeous location with a picture-postcard view! We dined outside under the large carnival tent, sitting on the outside edge with a direct view across the valley to the picturesque Blomidon. We started with a shared charcuterie board. A definite do-again choice! The three of us each ordered a different pizza, one with a gluten free crust. All were perfectly done, with light and crispy crusts and lots of fresh ingredients. Such a terrific meal!
