At this difficult time I thought I would support some of my favourite businesses by posting updated reviews. The Crispin, a proper local pub. Cosy and unpretentious. Well kept beers and the ever changing range always includes a dark one. Beers served in over sized glasses. The gin range also appears to be expanding. A sun trap garden for the summer .. The staff are always cheerful and they know their customers. I wish them luck and hope to see them soon. Take care .,

I visit this pub every Friday/ Saturday when I order my Chinese takeaway from the Shanghai, or Pizza from Dominos. I love this pub, it’s a sports bar with a “locals” feel. The landlord is makes this pub warm and welcoming especially when the log fire is on. The staff are friendly and lovely too!! I love my Guinness and I only drink it here because it’s the best in Wokingham, hands down, without a doubt. Chris knows his stuff when it comes to Guinness and I’ve never had a bad pint yet! If your into Real ale, they have a good selection of quality beers. I have included a half drink pint of the black nectar, my only defence is that it’s damm good stuff.

I love the redan!!! So glad they are also redoing the wall of fame again and added the cherry cola back to the menu! They completely understand the importance of social distancing and all government guidelines! Staff are also super friendly and the service was great! Can’t wait to come back!

Located in the heart of the newly developed Peach Place, Wokingham. Sit & Sip is a friendly, funky boutique bar and bottle shop with a superb outdoor space, that is the perfect place to relax with friends and family over a craft beer or artisan gin. Facilities include outside seating, lounge area, baby change & a fully accessible WC. COVID-19 Travel Safe tools include; hand sanitizer available for all guests, staff required to wash hands regularly, marked for social distancing, regularly sanitized high traffic areas.
Sit & Sip continues to provide a friendly welcome and an excellent range of beers in a safe environment. Staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic and work harder than ever in these strange times to keep customers happy. Wokingham being Wokingham, and covid being covid, unfortunately some people just can't be pleased ...

My parents travelled up from Essex and we had a great evening, the menu was reduced which wasn’t a problem as there was something for all of us. The food was cooked well and hot which was a pleasant surprise after the appalling lunch we had at the 2 populars. We have returned since to both pubs and I can say that the the three frogs is far better place to go rather than the 2 populars and also the leathern bottle. It quite surprising how different all these venues are as they are the same company. We would highly recommend the three frogs as there is an added bonus the staff are all so helpful , professional and happy and will make your visit a safe and pleasant evening or lunch.

We love this pub - great beers and wine, and always has a welcoming atmosphere. It's always busy, which is a good sign, and in summer people spill onto the bank outside which is fun. In winter, there is a lovely log fire.
