Shaped by the currents and curves of the Wisconsin River, Wisconsin Dells has been a favorite family vacation destination for more than 150 years. An explosion of indoor water parks has turned the Dells from a summer hot spot to a year-round destination. Kids will enjoy the seemingly endless supply of fun and games, from go-karts to miniature golf, sideshows to thrill rides. If the weather's right, you can take a Duck tour of land and water, and top it all off with a heaping helping of the local fudge.

The Wondertorium is one part oddity museum, one part thrill show, 100% freaky family fun. You will start off on a guided tour through the museum featuring the Mexican walking fish, bizarre art, a two-headed turtle and more! After the tour, you will enjoy a private circus stunt by Mr. Marvel himself. Acts include fire-eating, contortion, and more. Please note, we do have multiple locations. Please double check the address on your tickets so you don't drive to the wrong location.

Visitors learn about the life and times of the 19th-century pioneering photographer H.H. Bennett at this historical learning center and museum.
Our Upper Dells Captain told us to stop here. We spent over an hour. There photo exhibit upstairs (yes elevator) of local photographers was amazing. While my wife and I have different/share tastes, we did purchase the mother bird 16 x 20 to bring home...MoreThanks for the review! We always appreciate the boat captains giving us a shout out and we're glad you stopped in! We hope to see you again next time you're in the area.

This is one of those strange choices you have to make occasionally. Can I forgive the fact that the entire group of people in our section got cold coffee with their meal or do I rate this venue as excellent? The show we saw was first rate and the food was a step above most dinner theaters but no restaurant could exist with the coffee we were served. The waiter tried to explain it away because of a problem in the kitchen and given that my wife's tea water also arrived in a luke-warm state, he may be correct, but it still tainted a fine afternoon. The venue is otherwise first rate in that sight lines to the stage are great for everyone. Tables are a little snug but not too tight for an average sized individual. There are steps up or down to most of the tables.

My wife and I ventured out to Fawn Creek on a cold November afternoon. We were quickly warmed up by the friendliness of the staff at the winery. Fawn Creek has a majority of sweeter wines with a few off dry options. We were treated to a complimentary tasting of all of their varietals and found most to be very delicious. There was not a bad wine in the bunch, just some that I preferred more than others.
The winery also has some very unique gifts and some clothing for sale.
I would recommend a stop at Fawn Creek. We really enjoyed ours!

My kids love this park and its one of the more inexpensive things to do in Wisconsin Dells! Where else can you go where large deer come right up to you and you can pet them!

Once upon a time you could take the drive to the back entrance and pay $5 to explore Witches Gultch at your leisure. You would wait for the boat tour to depart the dock, then enjoy the gulch in all its glory. You would stand over the key areas without hordes pushing to get their looks. You would stroll at your leisure without pressure to hurry along or you'll miss the boat. You would pause and listen to the calming sound of the running water without the droning voices of 100 other visitors crammed into the echoing narrow canyon all at the same time. You would take equally serene photos as opposed to ones that make the canyon look more like Disney. Those were the days....
Unfortunately the Dells Boat Company has ruined any chance of actually enjoying Witches Gulch by closing the back road. The only way to visit is now on a crowded boat tour featuring a schedule that allows just enough time for the tourists to push their way down the canyon and spend money at the concession. ...and the boat company is not friendly about it either. Ask about coming in the back way and they will defensively lie about graffiti or about safety.....but bear in mind, you are asking about coming during open hours and paying an entry fee. Bottom line, they want to sell the boat trips.
I still give Witches Gulch 3 out of 5 because the place itself is a 5.
Hey Dells Boat Co, I'd gladly pay the price of a boat ticket for some private or low numbers time to actually enjoy Witches Gulch.

One of the best, if not the best, waterparks to stay at in Wisconsin Dells. Every location in the area has it's pros and cons, but Wilderness has something that will suite almost everybody's vacationing needs.
Multiple indoor and outdoor waterpark location spread throughout the resort, so lots of options of different things to do. Plus, having the various separate locations, there's a bit more spreading out of the crowds. Downside is that you'll potentially have a bit of a hike to get to the different places to which you're heading. Glacier Canyon to Wild West waterpark will provide some good exercise.
Many other activities beyond the waterparks. Big 3+ story playground for those not wanting to get wet at the moment, which doesn't cost anything more during the stay. Multiple arcades to play games and win prizes. Also have miniature golf, laser tag, and some other fun options. Keep in mind that most of these do cost extra money to play. Resort does have some good deals to get discounts or unlimited access, so recommend looking into that if you're planning to spend a lot of time play mini-golf or laser tag.
Number of different shops and restaurants located on site as well. Might pay a bit more for the convenience of immediate access, but prices are reasonable. Restaurants are pretty good well; experiences were good for both quality of food and service.

Families flock to this water park, the largest in the United States with over 60 water-based activities.
Very big, great variety, interesting attractions what more do you need from one of the best water parks there is.
I do wish the parking price wasn’t so steep though...
