Converted from the Central Vermont Railway to a bike path in the 1970s, this easy trail crosses through beaches and parks and offers great views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks and the city.
My wife and I cruised this path from Burlington to the ferry. The Ferry was discontinued for the season. There was plenty of variety with views of the lake, riding through quiet neighborhoods and at the ferry landing there views of the distant mountains. There are a number of park benches along the path.

Fantastic place to purchase wine or beer. They have an extensive stock that should have everything and anything someone would want to purchase. If you are in the Burlington area be sure and check out the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski Vermont.

Come float with us on a whimsical journey above the world below. One of our experienced and FAA licensed pilots will whisk you into the skies above Vermont, where you can take in all of the beauty that the Green Mountains have to offer. After about an hour you'll touch down and conclude the flight with a toast of champagne or sparkling cider, Cabot cheddar cheese, and Vermont fudge. Flights depart at sunrise and sunset daily, weather depending.
This was a bucket list adventure for me, and Jeff our pilot made our flight very special and entertaining. Safety was a huge priority. In spite of difficult wind conditions that gave us an extra long flight due to challenges with getting to a good landing location, we felt well taken care of at all times. And the post flight champagne, cheese and crackers were a lovely touch.

If you happen to be in Burlington, you must do Church Street and then come down to the Waterfront parks. There are ample parking locations available and it is a enjoyable walk along the Waterfront. There are also plenty of opportunities to sit on the benches and it just enjoy the scenery and opportunities for the children to get out and play in the grass.
A great location for taking a picnic with the family and enjoy this great venue. Wash rooms available .

This brewery is conveniently located close to downtown Winooski and offers a range of excellent beers available to taste and purchase. They recently started doing "Crowlers" large fatboy cans of whatever they have on tap, and they are awesome. Highly recommend you to check them out if you are a beer afficionado. They're also on the brew passport so stop on by!

Saint Michael's Playhouse is Northern Vermont's Professional Actors' Equity Theater Company which brings together Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional theater artists offering Vermont audiences an unparalleled opportunity to enjoy the very best in live theater.
We have seen a number of plays here in past few years and just took in Spamalot. It was a absolutely hilarious. This is a professional theater and they really know how to put on a play. A great way to enjoy the summer.

Visit three restaurants in downtown Winooski, Vermont for original cocktails. Three drinks and appetizers over two hours. Bring friends and celebrate the Vermont cocktail scene! First Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm.
Chris and Jen did a great job organizing the cocktail walk! It was a totally enjoyable experience with food and innovative cocktails at Misery Loves Company, Mule Bar and Oak 45. Nice to see that Vermont products from Appalachian Gap Distillery and Urban Moonshine were used for the drinks and the owners were present. We plan to do this again.

Walking around the University of Vermont was very pleasant. I was there during the summer, so not too many students. But the buildings were very nice (mostly brick) and everything was kept very clean. This was simply another quaint location in Burlington that fit the rest of the city. Beautiful college town and summer vacation spot.

I went to the Birdfolk in Waterbury on Saturday and the Birdfolk in Winooski on Sunday and didn’t blink an eye. My Christmas list is “anything from Birdfolk.” I love jewelry and they have such an amazing selection from local artists and artists from across the country - and everything is beautiful. They have a great selection of prints, insane smelling candles, unique purses and clothing, adorable children’s items - you name it. The new store in Waterbury is a little tucked away but delivers the same quality of experience. And they constantly have something new and different, which is amazing - and dangerous!
