Dill's Atlantic Giant Pumpkin Farm

Reviewed By AussiesLuvToTravel - Canberra, Australia

This farm is definitely worth a visit. It's a colourful, fun and interesting farm to wander around, checking out the huge variety of pumpkins, big, small and giant! We'd just been at the great annual Windsor Pumpkin regatta so to see where the giant pumpkins are grown and talk to the staff was just great. A walk through the farm and we arrived at the "famous" Long Pond - the beautiful forested area where hockey was "born" in Canada. Who would have thought pumpkins and hockey would go together - but they do here. Fascinating place.

The Birthplace of Hockey Museum

A very good little collection of Hockey memorabilia if you are prepared to part a few dollars of your money. The guide was very knowledgeable and very passionate about the game. We only visited for around half an hour but it's one of the highlights of my trip to Nova Scotia
