Squeaky Beach

Reviewed By Grifology70 - Melbourne, Australia

Went with family. A short walk to the beach from the car park. Best to cross to the main beach closer to the rocks. The sand is pure white and feels like talcum powder. The beach definitely squeaks. A memorable experience.

Whisky Beach

Reviewed By AmatureTourist - Melbourne, Australia

A short weekend get away and we were blessed (?) with overcast skies, low temperatures and high winds. We made the most of it and beach hopped the prom. Whisky beach was one of the best! Great views, great beach and the walk was almost as picturesque as the beach. Short walk from car park, toilet facilities at car park and picnic tables. Short walk at low tide around to Picnic Beach which can help fill out a day. Stay for an hour or stay for the day you will not get bored

Picnic Bay adjoins Whisky Beach, they are separated by Picnic Point. There are car parks ch either side of Picnic Point. You can also access the beaches by walking tracks. Picnic Bay has permanent rips, which make it dangerous for inexperienced swimmers. Both beaches are popular with surfers. Picnic Bay is around 500 metres (1640 feet) long. As the name implies, it's a popular spot for picnics.

Cotters Beach

Reviewed By ExplorersAffleck - Melbourne, Australia

Cotters beach is just a short walk from the carpark and there where wildlife every where, from Kangaroos grazing in the lake are (which was dry as it was summer) to the emus greeting us in the carpark. Cotters beach is windy compared to other beaches in the Prom, but all up its still beautiful in its own way.
