You must visit White Feather, friends said, and they were so right! It's fun, quirky, entertaining, organic, friendly, accommodating ... a real gem amid the vines. I can't think of a better place to enjoy the atmosphere while sharing a great local wine.

We’re pretty damn serious about making good beer and having some fun here at Shifty Lizard, and we are reasonably reasonable about doing it responsibly. The beer is what brought us here, it’s why we do what we do, but ultimately the fun is what actually matters. It’s central to our branding, our brewery taphouse in Willunga, our team, and in our beer. You can taste in every bottle with new flavours, scents and sensations and eyeball it on our labels and with every new shifty experience or location. You know you want to join us for a good fun beer. Go on.
This place is a ticks all the boxes when wanting to explore SA Beyond the CBD. Not too far from the city. The location in fabulous with a really nice drive through vineyards on the side of the road, I loved to able to sit outside under umbrellas on a beautiful afternoon trying the tasty paddle of beers. Excellent! We had lunch all having something different, we all loved the tasty food. So generous and accomodating. One of our party was lactose intolerant and it was.no trouble for them to adjust the menu. Thanks chef. I really appreciated the tight menu. The venue is cool environment, tasty food, bathroom good, staff friendly and priced right. ✅✅✅✅ we even bought beers to take home.

Hither & Yon is a McLaren Vale based wine brand, built from the soil up. We are a family and friend run business, with each member of our tribe as equal investors into the passion we put into our wines. Every aspect is a curated one, right down to the grapes we pick, the blends we create, the labels we design and the space in which our wines are consumed. Hither & Yon reaches far beyond a bottle on a shelf, its an experience, a lifestyle and celebration of friends, the memories and good things in life.
Service was exceptional and we really enjoyed the wines (stand outs even among the best we tried in McLaren Vale). We also enjoyed and the opportunity to pair those wines with food delivered from next door at 3 Monkeys cafe. Plan to visit this winery right in the middle of your day.

Cellar door tastings and sales, we grow and make organic wines. Our cellar door is in a renovated 1850's chaff shed and stables.
Called in to check out what’s on offer. Pleasantly surprised a really nice place. Friendly staff nice setting inside and out. Very nice wines, free tasting. Will definitely be back here with our interstate friends.

Minko is a family run vineyard producing premium, cool climate wines. Our vineyards are in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula, just off Woodcone Road in Mount Compass, and our cellar door is on the main street of Willunga. Minko proudly practices eco sustainable viticulture with an ethos of caring for the environment, our staff and our customers. We produce wines which are balanced and elegant, and which enhance the flavour of food. We grow Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Savagnin, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Minko's cellar door is located in one of the oldest heritage cottages in the main street of Willunga, in front of Russel's Pizza. A fusion of Italian enoteca and French providore, it oozes character and charm. We are proud of our friendly service and cosy, cheerful atmosphere. Our tiny cellar door is the perfect backdrop to try Minko's range of wines and sample some of the region's local produce, including Minko's own award winning virgin olive oil and Minko scrub honey, plus chutneys, sauces, jams and treats made for us which you won't find in a supermarket. Check our fridge for local cheeses from Woodside, Alexandrina and Hindmarsh Valley and our freezer for Andy's homemade lasagne and gnocchi. We have absolutely everything you need to put together the perfect nibbles platter, including the cheese board and, of course, the wine to go with it! On Saturday mornings Andy Clappis delivers his handmade crusty bread and Happy Food Produce (including homemade pasta, sauces and pizza bases), and Pat Danvers serves up her famous pasties, quiche, panforte and homemade jams and chutneys.
