If you are looking for a sled dog tour - within a nice drive from Anchorage - go here, hands down! I could not speak more highly of Dream a Dream. We had a jaw-dropping, amazing experience. Our group had a one-on-one, hands-on tour where we lead our own teams through perhaps the most beautiful Alaskan scenery you could imagine. Absolutely unreal, and not to mention with dogs that ran the Iditarod! For both visitors and Alaskans alike: make a point to come out here to get a once-in-a-lifetime Alaskan experience. Nothing compares to learning about the rich history of the Iditarod and Alaska from Vern himself while simultaneously taking part in such a fun-for-everyone activity.

I simply don’t have the words to describe how much fun I had here. The minute I arrived, I was greeted and made to feel at home. After a short orientation and safety briefing, we were off. I’m not sure who was more excited...me or the dogs. The dogs are just a bundle of energy & happiness covered in hair. Beware of their lighting fast licks as they love to give kisses ????. There’s a peace that you find out on the trails with the dogs that is so soothing that you can’t help but relax and soak it in. Plus, the passing scenery is mesmerizing. Don’t get me wrong, there was some effort required too. A couple of easy uphill and downhill areas. Nothing to fret about because you’ll be prepared well in advance and if I can do it, anyone can. You’ll have plenty of opportunity for pics and play out on the trails. The worst part about this experience is that it does come to an end ????. When I returned, I had to get pics with my dogs after I gave them water and treats. I sure didn’t want to leave as I could’ve played with the dogs and asked questions all day. Thank you so much to Matt & Liz for making this experience possible. And, special thanks to Kaci and Dane. Kaci fielded all my silly questions & made sure I had the best time on the runners! Don’t forget to pickup some souvenirs before you leave. Thank you all for making this an unforgettable experience!!!!!
