easy walk to the scenic overlook, wish there were signs though talking about the history of the place. There are ruins from something so it would be interesting to know what used to be there.

Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park

Generations of Missourians have passed through Dr. Edmund A. Babler’s Memorial State Park's massive stone gateway for cookouts and family get-togethers or to spend time with friends. The park’s camping facilities, Civilian Conservation Corps architecture, and hiking, bicycling and equestrian trails help all visitors find their place to get away from it all, just minutes from St. Louis.

Hidden Valley

Located in Wildwood, Missouri, 29 miles west of downtown St. Louis. The resort opened in 1982 and features a variety of terrain spread out over 16 trails and two peaks. 110 fan guns have the ability to pump over 6600 gallons of water per minute, covering 100% of the terrain in as little as 48 hours. The resort also offers the Polar Plunge Tubing Park a family friendly experience similar to sledding, no experience required. Approved in early 2018 by the City of Wildwood, is a Zip Line Tour - which once constructed, will operate daily and year-round from 9 a.m. to sunset over Hidden Valley’s 244-acre property.

9 of us traveled here to celebrate a friends birthday. We all had a blast. I had been to Snow Creek and was surprised at how large Hidden Valley was. Their terrain park was my favorite. Good smaller jumps for a beginner like me, as well as intermediate jumps for my boyfriend. Will definitely be visiting again when they open back up in the winter.
