We attempted the jungle room. Most of us were new to escape rooms but once we got into the swing of things it was non-stop and great fun. Our group was three adults and kids aged 15,10, and 8. Everyone was right into it and there was a huge variety of puzzles that everyone could have a go at (even the youngsters). The room was well laid out and the clues given when we were struggling ensured we didn't get stuck and bored. The kids already want to go back to try the other rooms

St. Mary's Lighthouse and Visitor Centre

Reached between the tides via a short causeway, St. Mary's has all the fascination of a miniature, part-time island. The Lighthouse, completed in 1898 on a hazardous coast for shipping, remained operational until 1984 when it was superseded by modern navigational techniques. Since then the Lighthouse and former keepers' cottages have been operated as a visitor centre by North Tyneside Council. The surrounding Nature Reserve contains an area of rockpools, clifftop grassland, a beach and newly created wetland habitats.Wherever possible we are open seven days a week between May and September, and during weekends and school holidays in the winter. However, it is not possible for us to open on some days because of tidal conditions. The stated opening times can also be subject to variations on occasion due to weather affecting the times of the tide.

Rang accessible line to book tickets and received a call back almost immediately. Wheelchair user and visited with my carer to see A Country Night in Nashville on Friday 13th March. Brilliant friendly cheery staff who were helpful to everyone, showing to seats and advising on timings etc. Treated us with respect and caring throughout the evening and the stage was visible from all seats. Fantastic atmosphere in a comfy venue. Non and alcoholic drinks available with ice cream during the interval. Great night out, car park next door, superb act. What more could you want???
