As a local .. would really recommend for walking .. good 3km circuit through wooded areas and down by river. Tranquil and beautiful. Gravelled does not muddy paths. Inclines so good to get the heart rate moving. Good parking ... cafe on site and pub within walking distance in Saltmills.

We had visited Wexford last year and stayed here- we enjoyed it so much we returned again this year. The location is fantastic just a few minutes walk from the heart of Wexford town. Central location to visit other areas and attractions. The staff were all amazing and really friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean with cleaning and towel changes provided daily. Tea/coffee making also available. I would recommend a restaurant in the town called Nosh n Coffee for breakfast- we visited multiple times as we were so impressed on our first visit- monster breakfast was delicious and the paninis were delicious.
