Our shop over looks the beach, we have changing facilities and a friendly welcome. We also hire surf boards that surf incredibly well and supply warm wetsuits to make you comfortable.

Kite and Surf were able to provide us with wetsuits, body boards and a surf board at short notice on our holiday. The rental prices were really reasonable and the location is convenient. Would definitely recommend

The Beach Shop is a family run business situated a stones throw from the beach in Westward Ho! We sell Gifts, Novelties, Westward Ho! Souvenirs, Toys, Beachwear, Wetsuits, Bodyboards, Kites, Beach Games and of course Rock, Clotted Cream Fudge and Clotted Cream Shortbread. We are also Bodyglove and Old Guys Rule stockists.

You've got to visit this great gift shop when you visit Westward Ho, we come here 3 or 4 times a year and we always visit this wonderful emporium of gifts and walk out with a bagful of goodies. There's something for everyone, kids, adults, some lovely memorabilia, cheap and cheerful for the kids as well as lovely selection of things for the home. Clive and Cath are lovely friendly people, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, tides etc. Go and visit you dont find many of these fantastic shops around now a days.

a quality gift shop with a wide range of interesting merchandise ,much sourced locally - now with a range of local alcohol !! My daughter and my granddaughters loved their daily visit ..and so did I !! they especially loved the jewellery and bought a number of well priced gifts ,the people in the shop are friendly and helpfull and had procedures to allow social distancing . super location with wonderfull views ,

New boutique surf and swim school. Being small is good as you will benefit from the personal service and small things we do a little differently. Our group lessons are always small & you'll always be with a highly qualified, experienced Coach. If you're surfing then you'll benefit from a very short stroll to the slipway. Oh, and we carry your boards for you too...

I have been surfing since the age of nine, first learning to surf here at Westward Ho! Almost 15 years ago. Since then surfing has been my biggest passion. During English summer time however I have always worked in surf schools in North Devon, working my way up from full time wetsuit washer at the age of 14 to fully a qualified RLLSS beach lifeguard and a BSA qualified surf coach. Entering into the 2019 season, this will be my 10th consecutive year working in surf schools.

What a welcome addition to Westward Ho! Lovely bar, great decor and great selection of cocktails, beers and other drinks. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different or just a very nice place to enjoy a drink!

Played the course today as a 4 ball , excellent condition,quirky, greens running approx 10 and true, well stocked pro shop with all the usual gear for hire. Good old fashioned clubhouse with additional decent kitchen facilities and menu. Great welcome from initial contact, sensible operation in place during COVID-19, if your in the area and want proper old fashioned Links golf as it should be, pay Royal North Devon a visit you won’t be disappointed.
