The trails and beach are great. Lots of shells and flat sand, which is perfect for building anything. Walk along the trails or the jetty for some wonderful views of waves, surfers, birds, mammals, and more. Bring a kite if you like! Parking lot is really good, along with grass parking once it fills up. Discover pass required for all parking. Slightly difficult to walk to the beach as the sand isn't always super compact or the rocks sometimes shift under foot. On the right side of the jetty, the wind is calmer. Be sure to watch for birds that feed close to the start of the jetty on the right side. Also a great spot to go diving for crab. Make sure you have a crab permit though!

It's always interesting to me to go to local area history museums, this one was worth the time. Great depiction of time and experiences from the past. Fresnel lens, coast guard rescue boat, crew quarters and whale skeleton exhibits were highlights.

The grounds are free but don't miss out on the $5 art docent lead tour up into the top of this beautiful lighthouse. Spectacular view of Gray's Harbor, Westport, and the Pacific Ocean.

We were in Westport during a busy weekend and in search of lunch. There aren't that many restaurants in Westport anymore, so they were super busy...we decided to go back towards the campground and try the Winery and we were not disappointed. This place has undergone a major remodel since we had been years ago, and it is truly beautiful inside and out! The pizza was excellent and my raspberry lemonade was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend stopping here!

Granny Hazel's Candy and Gifts has been a Westport, Washington favorite since 1962. Stop by to enjoy our selection of candy, fudge, gifts, and more!
Great little candy store. Prices aren't bad. Purchased a 1/2 lb of milk chocolate seafoam and it was THE BEST!!! Very fresh. Good thing it's an hours drive here or I'd be buying seafoam every week!

We walked the 1.3-mile mostly paved path to Westhaven Jetty, which separates the Pacific Ocean from Half Moon Bay. The tall dunes grass flows in thexwindxandcthe colours are gorgeous. It was an easy stroll but we had quite the head wind on our way back. As we looked back we spotted the light house peaking out of the trees. Beautiful views of the ocean at the end we could access the beach.
