Ningaloo Marine Park

WA you do not disappoint. Blessed is how we feel to have spent 7 nights here in the Ningaloo area. We took the advice to 'wanderoutyonder' and we are so glad we chose Coral Bay as our base. This place is beautiful. It was an epic road trip from Perth but worth every km! It is pristine, the beach is spectacular and safe. The marine life is abundant, if you could say there was a heaven here on earth this could be the place. Come here, leave only footprints and take hundreds of photos. Thank you!

Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area

Reviewed By BDOGNUTZ - Secret Harbour, Australia

Heaps to do at the Ningaloo Coast area , from snorkelling and its just meters off sure , unlike the coral reef in Qland, thoroughly enjoyed Lakeside to do this , just be aware of the good 500m to 700m walk to the prime location to the left . Plenty of fishing , swimming with wale sharks and than you have the canyon . To do sight seeing , hiking and climbing . Will be back . Pretty busy joint even in this COVID times.

Shark Bay

Reviewed By annettelaurie - Plymouth, United Kingdom

Shark Bay - We left Billabong Roadhouse and drove on up the Highway until we reached the turn off for Shark Bay, known to the local Malgana people as Gutharraguda, meaning two bays. It is a World Heritage listed site for its beauty and abundant prehistoric life forms, evolution in action and wildlife refuges. It is made up of the Francois Peron National Park, the Shark Bay Marine Park and Hamelin Pool Marine Nature Reserve. Nearby is Shell Beach, a Discovery Centre, Eagle Bluff and a Discovery Trail - this is a great place for families - all the above is free and you get to see some amazing things and learn a little too. It is a sleepy little place but well worth driving from attraction to attraction over a couple of days.

We spent a good couple of hours here. Beautiful modern building with displays including Cyclone Vance (a great simulation room), the VLF installation/US personnel, WW2 info, settlement of the Exmouth area, natural history and a beautifully done Aquarium. Very well worth a visit for families or individuals.

Ocean Park Aquarium

Watch the raw fury of sharks feeding from the safety of our observation decks by joining a guided tour of the park with a marine scientist, or relax with never ending ocean views at Ocean Park Cafe. We are famous for our fine quality coffee, delicious cake and fresh seafood meals!

Reviewed By mespirit1296 - Aveley, Australia

Had the awesome experience to witness the marine life within the aquarium, we had Josh as our guide who was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and his passion about the marine life made learning about the creatures even more easier and having experienced the shark feeding was the highlight of the tour. After our tour we had a very tasty lunch on the boardwalk overlooking the ocean/bay. Would highly recommend visiting the place.
