Spectacular coastline and plenty of beaches to swim or just sit and contemplate life. Best to do (anticlockwise direction) from Pink Lake, Eleven Mile Beach then towards Esperance ...

We have enjoyed this drive on many occasions over the years; it has also been a stopping place to enjoy a BBQ, crabbing and prawning trips, a Sunday picnic with family and friends. The road has been upgraded, traffic calming facilities installed, a separate cycleway, the estuary on one side and various properties on the other. It has always been a go to place to see wildlife, especially visitors wishing to see kangaroos grazing. Heading Northwards from Bunbury, you will see the turnoff at Australind and on reaching Buffalo Road, its worth while to see more of nature by heading left to Buffalo Beach and onwards through the peninsula to the old Belvidere site, camping grounds and beach area.

From all the beaches to visit, the excellent sandy beaches with some with rocks, the snorkeling is amazing. We really enjoyed Oyster Stacks, Turquoise Bay and Lakeside as our favorites. Lakeside and Turquoise Bay provided us with the opportunity to drift. We were able to see emus, kangaroos, all different kinds of birds, etc. and to hike. There is camping however, we had our base in Exmouth as we stayed in town. This Park is amazing and so beautiful.

The entire highway from the Lake Grace turn off to Kulin is interspersed with many humourous works of art highlighting the racing event. You will have a laugh at many of the stops along the way, making for a longer than anticipated travel time on this journey. It is a fantastic laugh a minute experience.

Caves Road is an extremely scenic drive with several attractions along the way – like beaches, forests, wineries, and a venison farm. The road is also fun to drive with many twists and turns. We took it from Augusta up to Dunsborough and experienced minimal traffic.

We followed parts of the Golden Quest Discovery Trail. We discovered hidden stories of the Goldfields. Can thoroughly recommend using this to plan your journey.
