Hubby and I had a wonderful vist to the centre and walk along the jetty. We saw over 160 beautiful black swans in the estuary plus a stunning eagle sitting up in tree. We thought we were looking at a couple of fish but on closer inspection we realized it was a magnificent stingray.

Visit Western Australia's top tourist attraction! Enjoy breathtaking views above and below the Indian Ocean from the Busselton Jetty – the longest tourist jetty in the Southern Hemisphere and second longest in the world! Spanning over 1.8kms (over a mile long), the Jetty is home to one of only six Underwater Observatories in the world. Ride the electric Jetty Train along the length of the Jetty, with 360 degree views across the ocean, and take a tour of the Underwater Observatory at the end. Experienced guides lead you through the natural wonders that lie beneath the Jetty where its piles create Australia’s greatest artificial reef, host to an awe inspiring forest of vividly-coloured tropical and sub-tropical corals and fish. Descend 8 metres beneath the water’s surface to view more than 300 different marine species in their natural habitat. Walking, photography, swimming, snorkelling and diving are all popular and be sure to visit the free interactive Museum and Gift shop.

Quite an interesting place to visit. Lots of colour and noise. We took a short walk to bathers beach and south mole to watch a container ship come in. Lots of eateries and breweries nearby. A bonus is the bon scott statue.

Dolphin Quay is something to behold! There is an amazing lobster there as big as a house. I was gobsmacked when I saw it and the place is worth visiting just for that !! Also the cafes and shops are worth a visit.

South Perth Foreshore is just a five minute Transperth Ferry ride from the City centre and Elizabeth Quay. There is a train station situated right next door to the ferry terminal at Elizabeth Quay. So, after touring the City of Perth why not jump on the ferry for a relaxing ride over to South Perth and relax on the beautiful foreshore with great views across the river to the Perth City skyline. There is an abundance of dining choices for all budgets in Mend Street, South Perth, plus its only a short stroll to Perth Zoo.

Always enjoy visiting Sorrento Quay, great shops, restaurants and cafes. It’s in a great location at Hilary’s Boat Harbour with a lovely beach and safe swimming. It’s an ideal place for a day out with family and friends.

What a pity we were there when it was an extremely windy day that we could not fully appreciate the beauty of The Fascine. We started at the Playground area and waited for the sun to set before walking further down to where the HMAS Sydney II Memorial is. The sunset was glorious throughout The Fascine. Just love the view of the coconut trees lining up The Fascine which reminded me of my childhood holidays to Penang where I was born (I was brought up in KL). Did not get a chance to walk on the 2.5km Old Tramway Walk Trail. Would have been nice to go for a run too from the end of The Fascine where the boat harbour is to the Heritage Precinct.

This is an amazing investment for the Augusta community. It makes whale watching tours so much easier, the boat ramps, parking and facilities are amazing. The water is so clear you can see fish and stingrays in the water and you can fish off the marina rocks. Excellent.

Sarah shared so much knowledge with us on the tour. The wildlife showed up in all it's splendour and with the help of Sarah's periscope, we could capture the detail of the birds as well. The Kangaroos, flora and dancing blue wrens were a real bonus. It was excellent value and really feel like I learned something special about our Mandurah Wetlands.
