A five minute drive past Dalyellup on the Bussell Highway the Capel Golf Club consists of an 18 hole par 72 championship course set on relatively flat terrain surrounded by an abundance of Tuart, Jarrah, Banksia and Peppermint Trees. The Club is also home to a large amount of wildlife including many kangaroos and native birds. An exceptionally maintained course will not disappoint.

We were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course. Greens were fantastic with narry a blemish or bump, fairways were lush and smooth. Kangaroos and emus were abundant. The course is a great credit to the volunteers that do all the hard work. Recommended for all golfers. Well done.

Royal Perth Golf Club is a fully private member's only club. While I was in WA, and stayed in Perth, and wanted to get a game in. I wasn't sure if I could get a tee time. So I looked up the website and found that if you are a member of a Golf club and have a Golf Australia Handicap, means you may be eligible to have permission to play a game. I called and spoke to the friendly and helpful staff and they helped do much to make it possible for me to join in the club competition. My experience was fantastic, the course was in great condition, the weather was unreal. The members made me feel very welcome and the company for the round of golf. I still check the photo's and try to remember how good the experience was. I highly recommend to check out our and plan to play a round. Highly recommend this golf course for all golfers . It is a bucket list . A little history of Royal Perth Golf Club. Royal Perth Golf Club, its current site in 1908. Royal Perth Golf Club is the oldest golf club in metropolitan Western Australia (WA) and was awarded its Royal Status in 1937. As seen in the pictures the course is always presented in immaculate condition all year round. Tough course with Kikuyu fairways and being an “old style” course, the greens in general are small in size making them elusive targets, especially when the sea breeze sweeps in off the adjacent Swan River. By modern standards Royal Perth is not long measuring just over 6000 metres. Despite this the golf course challenges the very best players with narrow fairways and renowned firm fast greens. Whilst there is little rough on the course there are near on 80 bunkers increasing the degree of difficulty.

A great golf course on the coast south of Perth. It's harder to play when the sea breeze comes in so get out early and enjoy the challenge. and u

The Margaret River Golf Club is a private club open to both new members and visitors. The club is located in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region, just 5 minutes drive from the town centre, and situated on the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Coastal Ridge. The 6092 metre par 72 course is one of Western Australia’s most highly regarded country courses. The golf course was created by a group of golfing enthusiasts in the early 1950's in a bushland cleared setting near the mouth of the Margaret River and winds its way up and down the slopes of the coastal ridge. The resident kangaroos have been a major attraction for visitors, golfers and non-golfers alike for many years. Although not heavily bunkered, the course features numerous water hazards, mostly on the front nine holes. The back nine in particular requires careful shot consideration owing to the undulating fairways and large trees. Absolutely stunning course. Fairways are well kept and every chance of finding your ball if you miss them. Greens are challenging and bunkers on the soft side. Highly recommend having a round of in the area. Nothing like being surrounded by good Aussie plantation and animals. The acoustics and ambience also makes this amazing.

Mini Golf Now Open! Picturesque, shady and refreshingly laidback, The Par 3 offers short-form golf to players of all levels. Situated on the historic Old Broadwater Farm in Busselton, the Par 3 offers keen golfers, holidaymakers and families alike nine lush, shady fairways and turf greens. It’s real golf, at a holiday pace, right on your doorstep. The course has recently come under new management, with the quirky A-Frame clubhouse lovingly remodelled to take full advantage of the shady, woodland it sits in. As well as offering full club hire services, the clubhouse serves quality Margaret River Roasting Company coffee and food to golfers and - just as importantly - Busselton locals on their morning walk through the peppermint trees.
Well worth a visit. There are 18 holes and each one has 2 levels of difficulty. Lovely course with tunnels and water on some holes. Also got a visit from a kangaroo jumping across the course! Only suggestion would be it would be good if you could pay for 9 holes, for younger kids. There's a coffee shop with ice-creams and seating.
