Swan Valley Gin Company is an Artisan distillery located within the cellar door of Pandemonium Estate in Baskerville. We produce Gin from our premium Swan Valley wine using a custom made copper still. There are three Gins for tasting all named Diablo. An Artisan Gin made from local mandarins, a Strawberry Gin and a Spicy Cumquat Gin using local cumquats and exotic spices. Gin & Tonics available.
After a few rounds of wine tasting we decided to make a change and try some gin. While I’m not a big gin drinker, my partner has a liking for it. We shared a gin taster and I was pleasantly surprised how nice their gin tasted!! I was also happy to see they had wine tasting too. We ended up getting 2 bottles of their gin and a case of wines. Staff were friendly and happy to have a good yarn with us. A beautiful view out the back and lovely set up inside. We really enjoyed our time there and recommend stopping in even if you aren’t big on gin. It’s definitely worthwhile and the owner’s dog is gorgeous!!

Where else can you find, a International Award winning distillery producing Top Shelf Spirits; a brewery that makes fantastic craft beer; cafe with homemade pizza; a cocktail bar using TGD delicious liqueurs; and secluded accommodation so you don't have to leave.
We popped by this afternoon on impulse - despite no notice the staff were happy to help us out with a distillery tour, which was entertaining and informative, particularlywhen it came to discussing ingredients used and the challenges of distilling in Australia vs other countries. Food was lovely (the scones are absolutely delicious!), and the quality of the spirits on offer excellent - the Turkish delight liqueur in particular i can easily see needing a repeat order. The surroundings are great - this is not an operation where quality has been skimped on at all, and it's extremely picturesque. Staff were all helpful and cheerful - my father and I had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to our next trip when we can spend more than a couple of hours here!

Built on the Dessert family farm just outside of Kununurra, the small pot distillery was created entirely by hand. Everything, from the still to the building itself, was crafted from materials found around the farm. Spike even taught himself to distil, with nothing more than a passion to make good, honest rum. After 25 years, nothing’s changed. Made from Australian sugarcane, wet season rainwater, and yeast, our Ord River Rum’s still made by hand. It’s vat-fermented, pot-distilled, painstakingly aged in oak barrels, and hand-bottled by us. The 300-litre oak barrels naturally colour and flavour our rum, giving you a smooth, tropical flavour, with an oaky finish. Come out for tastings of our Award-winning rums or for our delicious home-made cakes. Better yet from May onwards until Mid-September come out and enjoy one of our yummy lunches while relaxing in our beer garden. We are well worth the drive (15km out of town along Weaber Plains Road)
I am not normally a rum drinker, but I couldn't really give the Hoochery a miss when in Kununurra. I visited with friends who have young children. The distillery has a very relaxed ambience, with the building in which it's housed paying a nod to the distillery's beginnings and continued presence on a working station. There is plenty of seating, a gift shop, a bar and a kitchen serving lunch. The rums themselves are delicious and well worth sampling, either in a paddle or individually, Staff are knowledgeable with regard to the making of the rum and can give a detailed explanation of the subtleties of and differences between the different spirits. If you don't want a rum, beers, wines, soft drinks and coffee/tea are available. Board games and a playground entertained my friends' children. Lunch was tasty and reasonably priced; I had the barramundi and chips. The fish was cooked nicely and the chips were hot and crisp. It was a very enjoyable afternoon and a must-do if in Kununurra!

We were in Geraldton for the weekend and decided to visit the Illegal Tender Rum Co after hearing great reports of their award winning rum. Well worth the visit! We did the tour with Amos as our guide and found him to be so friendly and informative. It was definitely worth the visit and I would thoroughly recommend a trip here to buy some of their rum (and we also bought the gin) and partake in their tour.

Established in 1998, Harris Organic Wine and Spirits is the only certified organic winery and distillery in Perth's Swan Valley Wine Region. Producing certified organic (low preservative) table, fortified, ports, dessert and sparkling wines. Organic winemaking means sustainable vineyard practices with no chemical inputs. They do not irrigate their vineyard; their vines have been raised to thrive on rainfall alone. This contributes to their award-winning high-quality wines and spirits that have a unique and rich flavour. Tastings are available in a seated cellar door where you can relax and enjoy your discovery of Perth's only organic wines and spirits. Celebrating 22 years of operations in 2020.
Superb independent winery ideally located close to Perth in the Swan Valley. Perth's only certified organic winery and a hidden gem we are delighted to have found. We spent a morning helping pick grapes and learning about wine and winemaking from Duncan and his friendly and knowledgeable team, including Rosie the cat who supervised our work in exchange for the occasional scratch behind the ears. With a new appreciation for the work that goes into creating these lovely wines and spirits, we completed the experience with a delicious farmhouse lunch and a sample of the different styles of wine produced at the vineyard. Whether you just want to taste some amazing local organic wine or fancy a more hands on experience helping with the grape picking, I thoroughly recommend Harris Organic Winery.
