I travelled a long way to Leeds Playhouse because I wanted to see Pride and Prejudice (sort of...). I was not disappointed. The show was superb and the venue was great too. We arrived early and used the convenient parking just over the road in the John Lewis car park. We then enjoyed some great food in the restaurant before taking our seats. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. I hope I’ll be able to visit Leeds Playhouse again soon.

Situated in the heart of Leeds, the Grand Theatre opened in 1878 and has been entertaining people ever since. With a wide programme from musicals to stand-up, opera to drama and ballet to family shows, there's bound to be something that you'll enjoy.
Went to premiere night in Leeds. Great seats on row E with a great view of stage. Kay Mellor has written another stunning adaptation for stage of one of her tv shows. Language is fruity, strong adult themes throughout but it has you gripped all the way through. Applause to a great cast who brought this great show to life. A must see.....

The Alhambra Theatre is regarded as the North's premier touring venue and hosts the best in large scale entertainment from ballet and opera to variety and comedy, musicals, drama and Yorkshire's biggest panto. The venue seats 1,400 people and is a popular choice for major touring companies including Northern Ballet Theatre, Matthew Bourne's New Adventures and David Ian Productions (Chicago, Grease, The Sound of Music). It has staged major West End shows including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Miss Saigon. It is a member of The Dance Consortium, a group of theatres who work together to bring the best in international dance to the UK.The Alhambra also offers a unique and unrivalled setting for meetings, events, corporate hospitality and conferences in Bradford.
The Alhambra Theatre is a hubbub of theatrical productions up North of England. It has all the latest shows, including large productions such as Wicked, The Lion King and The Sound of Music moreover, a very popular Pantomime at Christmas. All touring shows generally go to the Alhambra, so you are sure to have a terrific time at this theatre. There is a bar and refreshments available with a wonderful and attentive staff. I have worked here many times and always look forward to coming back to the Alhambra.

I have only visited this venue once but I'm sure it won't be the last time. Set in the glorious town of Hebden Bridge, the venue provides a cosy & intimate setting for an eclectic variety of acts. I had the pleasure to witness Johnny Osbourne, a veteran Reggae artist who had ventured over from Jamaica & was only playing a handful of selected gigs in the UK. The fact that the Trades Club was one of the chosen few is probably testimony to this venue. The sound was first class & a sell out crowd loved every minute. Unlike most music establishments I have been to, the hand pulled real ale was an added plus.
