West Vancouver is a district municipality in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Park Royal is a great place for shopping, dining or just wandering around. It has a wide variety of shops ranging from small boutiques to large name-brand stores (Whole Foods, Best Buy, etc.). Prices seemed reasonable and customer service was excellent. The Mall is clearly very popular with locals so parking though plentiful can be tricky to negotiate. There are many eating and drinking places ranging from coffee bars to full scale restaurants. Getting there from downtown Vancouver is a breeze and costs C$3.00 by bus (257, 254, 250 run every few minutes) which I highly recommend! I relied on public transportation and 'Shank's Pony' the 4 days I visited Vancouver. No need to rent a car or use taxis (my opinion).
