I just finished climbing Singgalang Mountain. Singgalang is a mountain in front of gunung marapi. Singgalang is a very natural mountain with great views along the way. especially in the moss forest and telaga dewi a very beautiful lake at the top of the mountain. this time we were accompanied with a very professional guide. the name is Fajar of ambasador trekking. Fajar and his team are very good people with very nice personalities. for the food menu prepared for us vegetarians is very tasty and prepared according to our request. what we will never forget is the kawa daun coffee serve by fajar. We will come back to try hiking at marapi mountain of course with mr Fajar. A fine example of war history and human endurance! Well worth the experience, be sure to get an English speaking guide though. Without a guide, would be an injustice unless you can converse in Bahasa...
