We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

I'm not even a Harry Potter fan, nor have I watched the movies. But this store is like a showroom! It felt like I was in a museum. There is someone in my life who is a big Harry Potter fan, so I was able to get some birthday and Christmas shopping done here. But I found myself buying non-Harry Potter items for myself. I loved the duck-footed picture frames! I also really liked the novelty dish towels. My advice is to peruse their online shop first before you go there in person. Otherwise you get 'lost' looking at all the fascinating items.
