West Bengal (/wɛst bɛŋˈɡɔːl/) is an Indian state, located in Eastern India on the Bay of Bengal. With over 91 million inhabitants (as of 2011), it is India's fourth-most populous state. It has an area of 88,752 km (34,267 sq mi). A part of the ethno-linguistic Bengal region, it borders Bangladesh in the east, and Nepal and Bhutan in the north. It also borders the Indian states of Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Sikkim, and Assam. The state capital is Kolkata (Calcutta), the seventh-largest city in India. As for geography, West Bengal includes the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region, the Ganges delta, the Rarh region, and the coastal Sundarbans. The main ethnic group are the Bengalis, with Bengali Hindus forming the demographic majority.

We had booked two tours from Let’s Meetup.We enjoyed the Heritage walking tour,the guide was very friendly & gave us a lot of information.If you have some free time and want to learn more interesting things about Kolkata you, should book this tour,the second tour was the evening walking tour at Park Street on Christmas Eve , we saw the beautiful decoration and beautiful lights. We highly recommend this company considering some of the limitations due to COVID-19. Overall , great tour and great staff.

Happy Valley factory has been open to tourists since 2011. We conduct factory tours for our guests at our facility. The tour includes introduction to the history of Darjeeling and Happy Valley Tea Estate, explanation of tea cultivation in fields and manufacturing process of tea. This is be followed by a short tea tasting/appreciation session. The tour takes approximately one hour.

We Indians are milk tea lover right but as you visit this place you gonna change you mind, this place shows the actual tea processing and types of season tea therefore how to actually sip a tea, i would recommended everyone to visit this place and all taste the four types of seasonal tea.

Darjeeling Tea has gained worldwide recognition.  There are a number of Tea Plantations in the Darjeeling Region.  Sourenee Tea Estate is situated in the picturesque Mirik Valley of the Darjeeling district in West Bengal, India. The name Sourenee is a combination of two words: “Sour” – a tree that grows in this region having some medicinal value and “Rani” which indicates ‘Queen of the Valley’.   You will have a tour of the estate (plantation), then lunch will be served at the Garden Managers Bungalow.  After lunch, you will be given a tour of the factory and take part in a small Tea Tasting Session. This is an amazing place to have all types of South Indian cuisines. The staff is really helpful and courteous and provide very good guidance in selecting the dishes.
