Stop at the Onhoüa Cheteke Traditional Huron Site, an authentic reconstruction of a Huron Village, and the Tsawenhohi House for a glimpse of the history and traditions of the Huron-Wendat Nation. Musee Huron-Wendat

The museum introduces, in a very interactive fashion, a unique collection which brings one to the heart of the Huron-Wendat culture, explores themes from the historical territories and recalls native memories and knowledge. The museum offers more than a simple visit; it introduces a bona fide cultural voyage. Apart from all the collections, one can find, in close proximity to a restores brook, outdoor theme gardens where one may discover the beauty and power of the medicinal plants.

The Museum of the Huron-Wendat people only 16 km from the heart of Quebec City conveys the spirit of this unique people and their culture. Set on the banks of a river, a long house and stockade complement beautiful and informative interpretive exhibits inside. The adjacent hotel and restaurant should not be missed. We will definitely be back in warmer months to walk along the river.
