The Wellington Main Street Park is located right on main St. Wellington and overlooks a beautiful view of the park grounds and Lake Ontario. Many a celebration takes place within this park and offers tourists as well as locals to visit the outdoor market located to the east of Wellington United Church. During the hot summer months, local bands are featured on stage in The New Gazebo every Tuesday evening at no cost. Available are hot dogs, drinks, etc. at no charge (but small donations will be accepted) from the Lions Club. This park comes alive during special occasions like Canada Day, Pumpkin Fest, and other special holidays. Washrooms are available and one can bring along a chair, blanket to just sit back and relax for the day.

Great time @ Traynor Winery. It is a very small family operation. Trays of grapes were drying in the tasting room. The young server was SO knowledgeable and just a delight. It was late in the season and he was doing a couple of jobs at once. We were the only ones there and he gave us special attention. Prices were prominently displayed and we were able to share a tasting - 3 wines for only $5. The pours were very generous! He asked us what we liked and recommended 3 wines then served from the light white through the heavier reds just the way it should be done. He also gave a running commentary. I was totally impressed with our experience at Traynor.

This beach is located on a island strip off of Beach Road in Wellington, Prince Edward County. A quite walk along the boardwalk will take you around this secluded beach and bypassing the little Lighthouse. Plenty of parking space within this beautiful beach area and great for picnics with picnic tables located within along with restrooms. During the summer periods within the month of August, you can also catch the Dragonboat Races taking place along the beach channel and see some great rowing action not only by or own Wellington Lakers but the Legion group as well as Wellington's Lions Club are involved. During this particular event, food stands are set up within the beach area and other festivities take place. A must to see and only located approximately 10 minutes from our residence on Wellington On The Lake.
