I found this place driving by in the area. We had a good time. The atmosphere is amazing. Smells like fresh coffee. The decor fits the theme. You have several options. We went to a mystery and dessert. It was delicious. Perfect evening for kids 12 and over because you work in teams. Lots of reading to solve the clues. I recommend for birthday parties, family outings, date night or even for work team building activity.

Helen's Garden is a tiny well maintained spot on Main Street under the cover of ancient oak trees this locale is an excellent place for photographs. this is a popular place for bridal and engagement photos. The water features make this place good for family pictures as well. The garden is also a nice place to sit and contemplate life for a while, worthy of a quick stop or a relaxing afternoon.

I was looking for a workout my husband and I could do together and this is definitely it! From the moment we walked through the doors, you could tell the instructors genuinely care and are supportive. The instructors make it a point to know who every person in class is. If they haven't seen you in a while, they will check on you. It's nice to be held accountable! They have a HIIT warmup which is challenging yet beneficial and then we get some bag work after stretching and finish with partner workouts. The instructors help teach you technique and areas to work on! It's very high energy with upbeat music and even better instructors! We are so happy with our decision to join the ILoveKickboxing-Gonzales family!

Lake Nassau Park / David Braun Park is located at the southern end of Upper Bay Road, next to Lake Nassau. There is a nice boardwalk, baseball fields, tennis courts, large covered basketball court pavilion, restrooms, picnic tables, gazebos, fence dog park and benches. We loved walking on the boardwalk and watching the ducks. We also enjoyed watching motor boats and sailboats on Lake Nassau. There was plenty of parking and not many people were there on Friday afternoon.

Not-for-profit wildlife refuge and wilderness preserve on the southeast side of Houston.
Great place for hiking and walking enthusiasts. Three trails, each a little over a mile. Real bison on the property. Refurbished 1850 farm, buildings, and wind mill. check out the birthing center. Many beautiful birds, reptiles, animals for the whole family to learn about. Don't go during summer months, too hot for you as well as the inhabitants. Price $4, seniors and children $2

Topgolf is the premier golf entertainment complex featuring climate-controlled hitting bays, event spaces for groups of all sizes, and an impressive food and beverage menu. Players hit golf balls containing computer microchips that track each shot’s accuracy and distance while awarding points for hitting targets on the outfield.
We frequently come here on Saturday or Sunday mornings before noon for half price golf and brunch food/drinks! It’s a great way to enjoy Houston’s few months of gorgeous weather. The facility is clean, the staff is fun and friendly and the golf is great!...MoreThis is so great to hear. Thanks for your feedback. We love supporting our community, especially our troops! Good call on the pineapple mimosas, I may have to try that next time!

Howard L. Ward Park is a small neighborhood waterfront park with a large open field and a few trees. There are two gazebos, a short trail, a playground & picnic tables. It is a nice place to have a quiet picnic and watch the boats on Lake Nassau.

This is a nice park. It is clean and has decent bathrooms. We enjoy going here to walk around and occasionally swing on the swingset. There are good walking paths and a lot of Poke-Stops (if Pokemon Go is your thing). The park has nice playgrounds which are usually filled with kids. There are often people out for a picnic and people fishing on the small pier. I recommend this park!

Enter Hall park at one end and exit at the far end with nothing in between. It's a big area that lacks any planning. Sidewalks suddenly stop in the middle of a field, big areas of grass have no parking spaces around them. It seems to lack a purpose or a plan.
