Pleasantly surprised to find that this is more than just one store— there is a little antique mini mall attached! Main store has fantastic authentic items (no reproductions) from tools to advertisements to articles of clothing. Then, there is another section with booths of more of the great stuff! Lovely way to spend some time and good prices too. Nice folks with an organized, clean store. I purchased a fan, Barber orchard apple crate, reading textbook and small wooden box. I’ll be back!!

Our store is as inviting as we are. We are HAPPY when you have visited us. We personally searched out and purchased everything just for YOU! Our ever changing inventory: Smoky Mountain Antiques & Vintage collectibles - Estate furniture, Laughing Dingo Studio (Barn Quilts, original art, etc) HUGE selection of M.I. Hummel items & much more! THE STORE MOVED FROM OUR MAIN STREET LOCATION IN 1/2016! As of 2017, our studio, Laughing Dingo Studio, now has it's own gallery - right next to our antiques/collectibles store! Just a reminder that Laughing Dingo Studio produces CUSTOM Barn Quilts Squares (your color, size, design), stock Barn Quilt Squares (all sizes - in stock ready for you to select off of our walls and take to your home to love), original art (oils, etc), barn wood signs, Smoky Mountain crafts, homemade felt items (Christmas stockings, ornaments, cats, etc)... and MUCH more!
We popped in here expecting a quick visit, and ended up spending an hour looking around. They have all kinds of antiques from old signs, toys, books, tools, bottles, cameras, furniture.....you name it, they've got it. Prices seemed well in reason. Nice place.

My sister and I just returned from a week in NC High Country poking around antique shops in search of treasures for her on-line store. We visited over 50 shops--some we found on line, and many were those we just found along the way. My sister's shop has vintage jewelry, clothing and accessories. When we pulled up to this little house that is Antique Antics, I told her to go in ahead of me--I was sorting the next potential shops into my GPS. She opened the door, looked inside, and turned to me from the porch and said, "We're going to be here for hours!" She was so excited to begin! This shop had two rooms of vintage jewelry! A small room of christening gowns and linens, a room dedicated to clothing and accessories. And all of it was VERY reasonably priced--even for someone looking to re-sell, delightful bargains for private collectors. And the most amazing things about this packed-to-the-gills shop was how beautifully displayed everything was so that you could see it all, and the fact that EVERYTHING was so CLEAN! Not only the items for sale, but all the shelving and display cases--no dust anywhere! Jewelry cleaned to a sparkle, clothing and accessories clean and pressed. I read the other Trip Advisor reviews and looked at the photos that were posted. None of the photos show the cases (volume) of jewelry. There are two other small buildings on the property (maybe former sheds or one car garage?) Many of the posted photos were taken in one of these buildings and show other antique items that were not inside the main house. I told Charlene, the owner, that I was going to write up her fabulous shop on Trip Advisor. Please tell her you heard about her shop from the two sisters from Vero Beach and Atlanta.

A stop at the Balsam Antique Mall is sure to be an enjoyable experience for anyone who likes antiques. What a large variety of antiques! One can spend hours browsing around on the first floor, only to find a second floor also. There is a large variety of items there to spend your time admiring. Of course, there are some real bargains if you are willing to look for them. Balsam Antique Mall is one of the largest and best antique malls around NC.
