The National Mustard Museum is home to the world's largest collection of prepared mustards and mustard memorabilia. Tour our museum or sample any of our 500 mustards in the gift shop. Admission is free!
This place is a must, even if you do not like mustard. It has a very wide variety of products and samples are available to taste as well as buy. Downstairs is a museum to mustard .... yes you have to have a look ....even if just for the experience.

The park has a people beach with shelters, separate dog beach/swim area, boat launch/fish cleaning station, and a variety of different hiking trails. We picnic here, hike, swim, get the dogs out, and I personally like to use the park for trail runs through the woods and prairie. Lot's of elevation changes back in the woods so bring your hill legs!

Our family enjoyed our quick stop at the Mousehouse Cheesehaus. We purchased the aged asiago cheese spread, an assortment of fudge, and caramels. Everything was delicious. The caramels are the best I have ever had! They also have cute gifts.

This shop was filled with Wisconsin souvenirs, liquors, an assortment of jams and jellies, and refrigerated cases of cheese galore, both gourmet and standard. I bought the 7-yr aged sharp cheddar cheese, Provolone, and Pepper Jack Cheese. Can't wait to return home to prepare cheese toast in the mornings.

One of Madison's most popular attractions, this oasis of green includes a sunken garden, perennial garden, rose garden, rock garden, herb garden, wildflower garden and a tropical conservatory.
We love it and got married there in 1976. Beautiful gardens with labeled plants, wonderful walkways and a shuttle tour. Really enjoyed Butterflies and Blooms, Holiday Flowers and model train show. Beautiful Thai Pavilian, etc. Well worth your time.

Decent view of a nice lake and nice homes on it, with the Capitol dome on the horizon. But really nothing special as food on board is average, boat is cramped for space, and the whole thing pretty expensive for what it is.

The majestic Roman Renaissance-style State Capitol has the only granite dome in the U.S. and inside has over 40 different types of stone from around the world as well as murals and handmade furniture. The observation deck, open in the summer, offers views of the city and surrounding lakes. Capitol Square plays host to state events throughout the year including Farmers Markets and Folk Festivals.
This State Capitol is stunningly beautiful. It has beautiful grounds, marble flooring and columns, stately governor’s office, senate, assembly and Supreme Court rooms, and, best off all, protesters who have gathered every day since Scott Walker’s election in 2011. They sing protest songs at noon every single day! What’s not to love?

The pink elephant is a fun photo for all ages. Hang out with the pink elephant and get pics, then drive across the interstate to get pics with Sassy the Cow.

This conservancy has several groomed trails that are great for walking, biking, and running. They take you through a variety of forest, prairie, creeks, etc. Run completely by volunteers, it is maintained extremely well. You can park at the Middleton City park-Orchid park and then pick up the trails from there or go to the Branch Street trail head for a different set of trails. Another good place to enter is to park at Parisi park and enter near there. Maps for the trails are available on the Conservancy's website. The trails are accessible in winter as well as summer/spring/fall but come prepared with boots for snow as they are not groomed.

Visiting family in the area and wanted to visit this new Wisconsin winery. Beautiful tasting area, indoor sitting area, gift shop and outdoor sitting area. Very nice tour and great conversation with the owner, David. We purchased (2) glasses of Pinot Gris and sat outside, enjoyed the sitting area by the outdoor fireplace with a great view of one of the vineyards. We will be back!
