Open first weekend in May through last weekend in December, Janaurary through April by appointment for wine purchases.
This winery owned by Todd & Kathy is carefully tucked away between WUkesha and Mukwanago. Wide variety of wines, from sweet to very dry. Elegant tasting room, bring food if you like, pop a cork and enjoy. They offer a wine for every taste. Cheers

Love everything about this wine bar. The living-room style set-up, the small (10 seats?) bar, the tasting area, and the automated wine pours that allow me to satisfy my curiosity about ~24 wines and select the size of my pours. Very friendly and knowledgeable owners. Love the vibe and the exposed cream city brick. Great small plates (cheese and charcuterie, most notably). I'm following them on FB, love the wide variety of high-quality tasting events that they host for about 12-14 people (sign up early!) and their happy hours. Street parking plus some surface lots nearby are available for parking.

There are SO many great ways to enjoy Minooka Park just outside the city of Waukesha: snowshoe, hike, ski or sled, or fat-tire bike!

We were slow to visit to redeem a Father's Day gift card due to the pandemic, but by waiting until 2021 we were able to get a growler of Guitar City Gold Lager brewed to honor the city of Waukesha's 125th anniversary. The sliders and fries and tacos for lunch were delicious. Lots of great options for our flight, but we had to go with Guitar City Gold!

The Waukesha County Museum has begun a complete building transformation, we are working to rehabilitate the historic courthouse complex we occupy in beautiful downtown Waukesha. Due to construction the Museum is temporarily closed to daily admission. Please visit our website for updates on the project, including project re-opening. The Research Center Library & Archive is still available by appointment, on Friday's only. Please call or email to schedule an appointment.
The exhibit dedicated to Les Paul is definitely worth a visit. My wife and I made the "pilgrimage" all the way from North Carolina. A video loop shows Les Paul and Mary Ford performing together, including a TV comedy sketch where Les tries (and fails) to out-do Mary on identical Les Paul model guitars. (It's endearingly cute.) Two of Les Paul's own guitars are on display plus information/history on other instruments and recording equipment he used in his amazing and amazingly long career. I would recommend allowing about an hour to fully appreciate this exhibit.
