A not too long drive from Port Macquarie to Old Bottlebutt to get there........but be warned if you are using Googlemaps and it shows a quicker/shorter option off Internal Break Rd - to go along King Creek Rd: DO NOT TAKE IT like we did!! We did and only just managed to drive along it and return ????. It was very narrow and gravelly and undulating in parts! Stick to driving on Internal Break Rd and Jimmy Rd which lead to a carpark and picnic area with drop toilets. The tree was worth the drive!

This is a wonderful shady park located in the middle of Wauchope town centre. We were having coffee at Watermans Cafe which is located in the park. The playground was very busy with lots of little kids having so much fun. There are lots of activities and what I liked was that the playground was fenced. There is also a fabulous kids bike track with lots of road signs for them to learn road rules. Really cool!

Extremely laid out viewing area and plenty of parking. Bit of a way in from the Wauchope Road but well worth the detour. Impressed by the peacefulness and quiet of the viewing area plus the cleanliness of the area. Plenty of information on the construction of the Dam plus the requirement for the Dam. Three great individual BBQs overlooking the Dam make this a great place to spend a few quiet hours with nature.

A funtastic place for kids 0-12 years. All-weather indoor play centre. 3 story maze,including slides,bridges,jumping castle,tunnels and obstacles.An under-3year-only safety area with ball pit, giant shapes and cubby house with slide.Open 7days from 7.30am.Keep an eye on the kids through the sound-proof glass,while you enjoy a cappuccino and cake in the cafe. A great day for everyone. Two worlds...too easy !
