The cavernous hall carried the ancient melodies resounding from the towering concrete walls. This modern day Cathedral of the new world houses the voices and music chanted for thousands of years. Embedded deeply in the rhythms from the old country, the rituals convey the timeless truths essential for everyday life in a city immersed in the intensity of artificial intelligence. The light of spiritual reality appeares reduced to a flicker, until you step inside the oak doors and remain in silence until the strains from the chorale are heard singing above from the upper balcony. A truly healing and refreshing drink for the soul.

We always stop there on the way to Mt. Rainier. On the first day of November there were no crowds, and we could walk around the church and the railroad station next to it. Don't forget to take your camera!
