One of the best State parks in Southern Michigan. Has a beautiful lake for boating and swimming. Many hiking trails throughout the park and plenty of parking. The place is so big it never feels over crowded with people. Lots of wildlife roaming the trails area also. Great family place.

Our first time to Emagine. Took grandkids to see a Christmas movie. I thought the loud volume would bother them but they were mesmerized the entire time. Loved the power recliners. Although we didn’t partake you can get cocktails
and meals while you are there. Was very clean and easy to find your way around. Wish they had had two cashiers selling tickets because the people in front of us were trying to cash in points or something that took five minutes easily. Still made it to the show on time so no big deal.

See firsthand the dedication of the 6th generation and staff, whose goal is to bring guests the highest quality fruits and vegetables, as well as a place where old fashioned values and fun are still part of the traditions. MAEAP: Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program Westview earned MAEAP verification from the Michigan Department of Agriculture in 2009 after a two year long process. What does this mean? MAEAP is a partnership effort that aims to protect natural resources and build positive communities by counseling Michigan farmers that operate farms of all sizes and all commodities on environmentally responsible agricultural production practices. To become MAEAP-verified, farmers must complete three comprehensive steps: educational seminars, a thorough on-farm risk assessment, and development and implementation of an action plan addressing potential environmental risks. To retain MAEAP verification status, a farm must repeat all three steps including MDA inspection every three years. Westview has always understood the importance of being good stewards of the land. Working with Michigan State University in 1980, Westview Orchards began implementing the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) using insect traps to monitor problem insects, and computerized weather stations to predict crop infestations. The family also implemented new planting configurations to include insect "repellent" techniques after MSU conducted research at Westview. In 1994, the family farm was recognized by the county soil conservation district as Macomb County's "Conservation Farm of the Year" for their IPM practices, use of special "prescribed" orchard grasses that reduce soil erosion on the orchard's hills, implementing trickle irrigation throughout the orchards and participating in on-going MSU research to reduce their use of materials.
We love going to Westview every fall! Our entire family has so much fun picking apples, going to the petting zoo, exploring the shop and playing in the large play areas. The tractor ride is a lot of fun!
I highly recommend making the trip here in the fall. It will be a day full of fun memories!

Yates is one of the oldest, continually running businesses in Michigan. Come for a visit and be a part of what has made Yates Cider Mill a destination for generations.
I like going here because it is not far to travel to and it can be group family outing. The only thing that if your allergic to yellow jacket bee stings need to be aware.

This trail runs from north side Rochester across to Lake Orion and paralell with Orion street. Its a well paved road (sand) where running and bicyckling is easy.
When you run from Lake Orion to Rochester, walk through Rochester and connect to Clinton River Trail. This brings you west to Auburn Hills and beyond.

The Mall at Partridge Creek is an open-air shopping center in Clinton Township, Michigan hosting over 100 stores like Nordstrom, Apple, Coach, Banana Republic and Aveda Salon. Partridge Creek is perfect for a night out, with numerous restaurants and an MJR Digital Cinema 14. The mall is dog-friendly and also provides amenities like bocce ball courts, free Wi-Fi, children's splash pad fountains.
This is a very nice outdoor mall. Always nicely decorated. Dogs are allowed, so watch your step. They have good bands at night , in the summer. A tree lighting ceremony in the winter (which is far too crowded and borderline dangerous due to the crowd/inability to move). There is a good mix of stores. Our kids like to hang out here with their friends, but it lacks restaurants for the younger crowd. There used to be a Taco Bell, not sure what happened to it.
My wife and I saw a movie at the MJR Theatre here this week. The seats were comfortable but were full of previous patrons’ popcorn. There wasn’t enough room in front of the reclined seat for someone to pass comfortably. Our seats were in the second row which was far too close, our necks were hurting half way through the movie. The worst part was it was far too cold in the theater. Our hands and feet were freezing. We told a young male worker when we walked out, he said “Well it’s cold outside too”. Not very good customer service skills.

Such a wonderful and charming this little baseball stadium!. Fireworks, kids running the bases after every game, low prices for tickets and food/drinks, better-than-expected play from the minor league teams, free parking (by the way, I've seen several reviews elsewhere in which complaints were written about how far the parking is from the stadium, but there is a free shuttle that takes fans from the parking lot to the front door for those who struggle with the walk) and lots of kid activities. Very friendly staff and the owner, Andy Appleby, is always walking around. There is a awesome vendor at the Brooks Craft Beer both (Karen)!
The only small complaints I have are that the first base side walkway is very crowded as there are many food booths there and the walkway is rather small. So those in line at the booths block the pathway and you have to dodge and dart in between everyone. The batter walk up music is very loud when sitting in the seats behind the plate (and this is coming from an old 70s rocker guy).
But you will have fun here!

If you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life than Wolcott Mill is it. If you go there on a weekday you can stroll through Wolcott and enjoy the beautiful country setting. There is also Farm Animals that you can look at or just sit on one of the bench's to unwind.

Twin Lakes is a great place to golf with friends. The course is well maintained and all of the trees/wooded areas give you that up-north feel. Prices are reasonable and there is a huge clubhouse with a grill (restaurant), pool and tennis. I've also been there for several weddings - they do a great job and the food has always been good.

Both times I went to the escape room I had a great time! The owner is friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic. The rooms are challenging, but communication is key and you can do anything when working together! Highly recommended place and great for a night out with friends and family!
