Washington DC is a hub for American politics and history. Attracting as many school field trips as it does travelers the district offers a peek into the country’s democratic origin. There are plenty of free museums to take advantage of but the real draw here is the memorials and monuments dedicated to great American leaders. Spend some contemplative time at the Reflecting Pool within the National Mall, among the most patriotic places in the country.

Marines I salute you. I went with my wife for her second Marine Corp Marathon. What an amazing event. Well planned, hugely attended, extremely safe, and down right spectacular. The expo at Gaylord Palms was perfect. The security by the Pentagon was perfect, The Marines were true to form approachable. Professional and to say the least they made me proud to be an American, even more than I already am. Thank you for a job well done

With an intimate stadium, music between points, cheerleaders, and mascots both tall and round, the Washington Kastles offer a high-energy experience unlike any tennis tournament in the world. In nine short seasons, the Kastles have quickly rewritten the record books of Mylan World TeamTennis. Our roster of players changes annually but we are happy to include professionals like Venus Williams, Martina Hingis, Nick Kyrgios, the Bryan Brothers and Frances Tiafoe among our most recent 2017 season.

The Military Bowl, taking place in December at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, pits the Atlantic Coast Conference against the American Athletic Conference, in an exciting day of football. Daring athletes take to the frosty pitch in support of the US Armed Forces and their families, with ticket and concession sales going towards the cause. A number of military personnel and their families are invited out for complimentary seats, giving the event a family focus and a unique and welcoming air pride and patriotism. More than just a football game, the day aims at creating a positive dialogue and experience between military, the country, and its visitors. A bright and bubbly parade for kids is held in its honour, and a serviceman does the coin toss to start off the game.
